kostacurtas Δημοσ. 21 Ιανουαρίου 2010 Δημοσ. 21 Ιανουαρίου 2010 Elder Scrolls MMO in the Works? The on-going legal battle between Bethesda and Interplay has bought forth information suggesting that an Elder Scrolls MMO is in the works. We already knew that Zenimax Online — Bethesda parent company Zenimax’s MMO studio — is working on a project. Bethesda has now apparently disclosed some information about that project in their court case against Interplay, information they’re looking to redact. According to Bethesda’s testimony, the work on the project has been going on since 2006 when a team was first assigned to it and has been going forward full steam since 2007 (Zenimax Online was formed in the same year), with an expected 4-year development timetable. If DAC’s reporting is accurate then there are “close to a hundred people” working on the World of Warcraft-like MMO that has seen “tens and tens of millions of dollars” invested into it. And if sources are to be believed, it’s an Elder Scrolls MMO originally meant to be revealed last year. If this all pans out then the game should launch next year, with official word hopefully arriving this year.
kostacurtas Δημοσ. 23 Ιανουαρίου 2010 Μέλος Δημοσ. 23 Ιανουαρίου 2010 How an Elder Scrolls MMO Could Work Please make this game for me. Yesterday we reported that certain court documents from the ongoing Bethesda/Interplay lawsuit made mention of a 'World of Warcraft type game' being developed by a subsidiary of Bethesda's parent company, ZeniMax Online. This game is believed by many to be an Elder Scrolls massively-multiplayer online game (MMO). After raising my arms in triumph, it occurred to me that I had never really considered how an Elder Scrolls MMO would or could work. I put on a Yanni album, entered my sensory deprivation chamber and began to visualize the possibilities...

Ήδη χάσαμε το Knights of the Old Republic...

kostacurtas Δημοσ. 3 Μαΐου 2012 Μέλος Δημοσ. 3 Μαΐου 2012 The Elder Scrolls Online Long rumored and much anticipated, The Elder Scrolls Online is finally being unveiled in the June issue of Game Informer. In this month's cover story we journey across the entire land of Tamriel, from Elsweyr to Skyrim and everywhere in between. Developed by the team at Zenimax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online merges the unmatched exploration of rich worlds that the franchise is known for with the scale and social aspects of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Players will discover an entirely new chapter of Elder Scrolls history in this ambitious world, set a millennium before the events of Skyrim as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm. "It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years," said game director and MMO veteran Matt Firor, whose previous work includes Mythic's well-received Dark Age of Camelot. "The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise." An in-depth look at everything from solo questing to public dungeons awaits in our enormous June cover story – as well as a peek at the player-driven PvP conflict that pits the three player factions against each other in open-world warfare over the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor's throne itself. Come back tomorrow morning for a brief teaser trailer from Zenimax Online and Bethesda Softworks, and later on in the afternoon for the first screenshot of the game. Over the course of the month, be sure to visit our Elder Scrolls Online hub, which will feature new exclusive content multiple times each week. You'll meet the three player factions, see video interviews with the creative leads, and much more. The Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled to come out in 2013 for both PC and Macintosh.
