Το DLC Back to Karkand θα συμπεριλαμβάνεται στη Limited Edition για όσου προπαραγγείλουν και από ότι λένε οι πληροφορίες θα περιλαμβάνει 4 map από το BF2, οχήματα και όπλα αλλά και μοναδικά award και achievement.

Εγώ πάντως dfk προς το παρόν το βρίσκω μόνο ως rumour, πχ:

Although EA has yet to officially detail the contents of the upcoming Battlefield 3 limited edition, this rather official-looking image has surfaced on Gamersmint. According to the poster, the LE version (all first-run copies of the game) will include "Back to Karkand" DLC "at no additional charge." The add-on includes four maps from Battlefield 2 "re-imagined with Frostbyte 2," the upcoming sequel's new engine, in addition to new Achievements/Trophies, unique rewards, and weapons from the previous title. Those that don't get the LE will be able to buy Karkand "approximately one month after the game's release.

 

While these details aren't confirmed, they certainly fall in line with EA's many other "Project Ten Dollar" offerings. We're bound to find out exactly what EA has planned for the LE in "late February," according to the EA Store."

Βέβαια, ούτως ή άλλως θα φύγει το Preorder, δλδ δεν περιμένω να δω ΑΝ θα πάρω LE, άλλα ΤΙ θα περιλαμβάνει.

Άλλωστε εδώ πήραμε LE για bc2 και δεν θα πάρουμε για το παιχνίδι της δεκαετίας

 

Δεν θα βιαστώ πάντως να το χτυπήσω από Play αυτήν την φορά, θα περιμένω μήπως το φέρει LE και το ΠΛΑΙΣΙΟ.

Η πηγή είναι, ή καλύτερα να πώ ήταν (το αφαίρεσαν) το wallpaper του preorder με αλλαγμένο το url (χωρίς το τελευταίο 3). Σε αυτό αναφέρονταν τα παραπάνω. Προφανώς όλα αυτά δεν είναι official θα πρέπει να περιμένουμε την 1η Μάρτη. Πιστεύω ότι είναι αλήθεια πάντως.

εγώ λέω να τους στείλω email για μία ακόμη καινοτομία, δλδ στη LE να συμπεριλάβουν το day 1 patch (θα είναι κανένα ~500MB), όταν οι άλλοι δεν θα μπορούν να το κατεβάσουν -γιατί θα γονατίσουν οι download servers-, όσοι έχουν LE θα παίζουν ήδη!

More Battlefield 3 information has emerged, revealing that Tehran, New York and Paris will all feature as major locations in the game. An updated version of the spotting system in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be in the game, as well as knives, dog tags and bullet drop. Read on for more info.

 

Product listing information on the Game website lists Tehran, New York and Paris as major locations in the game. Tehran was confirmed by Battlefield 3 Lead Gameplay Designer, Alan Kertz, who has been aswering questions on Twitter, unveiling a few more nuggets in the process.

 

Kertz reveals that Battlefield 3 will have a spotting system similar to that of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in which players could tap a button and highlight an enemy to the rest of the team. The specifics of the spotting system have yet to be finalised though. “Spotted enemies could have a bomb dropped on them by an orbital space cannon for all I’ve decided right now,” says Kertz.

 

We already know that the ability to go prone will be in Battlefield 3, but doing it in midair will be impossible, eliminating ‘dolphin diving’. Bullet physics will work in a similar way to Bad Company 2, with gravity and distance affecting projectile trajectories, but the system will be updated. “Yes, there is bullet drop. Doesn’t work the same as BC2 though, it’s a much deeper system.” Close combat kills and dog tags will also make the transition from Bad Company 2. “There will be a knife, there will be dogtags. No details for now.”

 

Kertz also mentions that there will be friendly fire options, and there won’t be ziplines or grappling hooks, saying “you don’t kill CoD by trying to be CoD. Edit #2: Έτσι όπως τα γράφει για τον Commander μάλλον δεν θα βάλουν.

 

Ωραία η καταστροφή που δείχνει από destruction 3.0 (να δούμε και σε βίντεο/multiplayer). Ωραία και η πυξίδα για να λέω επιτέλους "βόρεια, ανατολικά" και να μην με ρωτάνε "πού είναι αυτό;".

 

Επίσης στο τέλος ακούγεται λίγο χλωμό για το modding πώς θα γίνει. :/

Από τα screenshots μου μυρίζει Bad Company 3. Όχι life bar, όχι stamina bar, όχι γεμιστήρες, όχι commander...

Γιατί δεν μπορούν απλά να μεταφέρουν το BF2 στην Frostbite 2;

Αναμενωμενη πλεον απογοητευση το BF3.Οι ελπιδες για ενα πραγματικο Battlefield - διαδοχο του BF2 σβηνουν με καθε καινουρια ειδηση.Οι καλες εποχες του FPS gaming περασανε, τυχεροι οσοι τις ζησαμε.
