Microsoft chief executive officer Steve Ballmer has made some bullish statements about the future of the games industry, the looming next-generation and Microsoftʼs place within it.

 

In an interview with News.com, Ballmer exclaims, “I am betting we can take Sony in the next generation. I think the work that Bill (Gates) and I have been doing, really together, is to make sure we are investing in new areas. Look at what we have done with Xbox! We may still be losing money, but we have gone from nowhere to a significant player with a whole different approach. We've generated something brand new.”

 

However, the interesting point is the direct assertion that the next iteration of the firmʼs Xbox console will dominate the market, outselling the upcoming third generation of PlayStation. “I bet we can take Sony next generation (sic). I am betting we can take Sony in the next generation,” he challenged, a gutsy gauntlet to throw down by any standards.

ποιος να ξερει θα δουμε, μπορει και να τα καταφερουν μπορει και οχι, αλλα ποιος θα κλονησει την εγγατεστημενη βαση της σονυ?

 

80.000.000 ps2 αυτη τη στηγμη και πανω απο 120.000.000 ps1... οταν το xbox μετα βιας ξεπερνα τα 17.

 

και το θεμα ειναι οτι ελαχιστοι απο τους παραπανω μετανοιωνουν που πηραν Ps

δύσκολο πολύ δύσκολο να τα καταφέρει...το λένε και οι αριθμοί...πάντος απ τη στιγμή που μπήκε η sony στο παιχνίδι απο κάποια στιγμή κι έπιτα η βιομηχανία έγινε μπουρδ@#$$#^%%$.....τέσπα.....
