Panta to na balo ellinika sto linux ( sto slackware kalitera..) itan mia diskoli ipo8esi.. sto 9 pou eixa to eixa ftiaxei peripou stin tixi. Ligo apo to ena site, ligo apo to allo.. Telika ta eixa balei.

Alla tora sto Slackware 10 deen mpainei..

Kapia selida pou elege pos na ta balo itan sta ellinika kai opos katalabainete DEN mporusa na tin diabaso gia na kano oti elege.. Etsi ena filaraki mou tin ekane se greeklish kai arxisa tin diadikasiaaaaaaaaa....

Prota elege gia to xfntgr.. Ekana oti itan aparaitito s'afto..

Δεν χρειάζεσαι το ttmkfdir για να εγκαταστήσεις τις γραμματοσειρές. Απλά πήγαινε στο directory που τις τοποθέτησες μέσα από shell και γράψε πρώτα mkfontdir και έπειτα mkfontscale. Κάνουν την ίδια δουλεία με ttmkfdir και αποφεύγεις τις προβληματικές μεταγλωττίσεις.

Mplekete poly!!

Einai poly aplh diadikasia kai to mono pou xreiazetai einai freetype2 (pou perilambanetai sto slack...)

1) Prepei na kaneis recompile ton kernel kai na baleis san native language iso8859-7 (kai kane include san built in ola ta alla greek charsets...)

2) Pare fonts apo windows kai balta sto /usr/share/fonts. To ka8e font (3-4 arxeia) se diko tou dir. Kane ena "chmod -R 755 /usr/share/fonts/*" kai terma...

1) To nls support einai compiled as module ston 2.4.26 tou slack. Ektos autou exei sxesh mono me to I/O ellhnikwn onomatwn arxeiwn sto fs, oxi me tis grammatoseires.

2) Etsi 8a tis dei to fontconfig (kai epomenws oles oi qt-based efarmoges), mporeis omws na 3exaseis gtk, gtk2, tk kai genika ola ta alla toolkits. O swstos tropos einai na tis baleis sto /usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts/oti-8es kai na tis dhlwseis ston x-server. Btw, necronio bal'tes sto /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF (me kefalaia) gia na mh xreiastei na peira3eis to fontconfig.

Eprepe ta fonts na ta balo ston fakelo /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF <- me KEFALAIA .. kai oxi me mikra pou ta eixa.. kai meta na kano :

ttmkfdir > fonts.dir

cp fonts.dir fonts.scale

kai sto /etc/X11/xorg.conf eprepe na allaxo tin grammi:

FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ttf/"

se FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/"

kai fc-cache -f -v .

ekana restart ta X kai evlepa/egrafa pleon ellinikaaaaaaa...
