Tanto1982 Δημοσ. 23 Μαΐου 2004 Δημοσ. 23 Μαΐου 2004 Twisted Records Label Party 22/05 - Review (to para8etw sta agglika giati to kanw copy paste apo ena trance forum sto opoio to egrapsa) ok, the party was absolutely stunning! my only complaint is the time schedule: main room: 22.00 Nantzan 00.00 Prometheus (live) 01.30 Dimitri 03.00 Hallucinogen (live) 04.30 Tristan chill room: 22.00 Tarek 00.00 Shpongle (dj set) 01.30 Ott (live) 03.00 Prometheus (exclusive dj set) 04.30 Merv Pepler So, you see, Simon and Benji were playing simultaneously both times! Anyway, let me give you a brief description of my night. First of all the decos were really amazing! Fantastic work!! The place was excellent, with three rooms (the main room was very big) and a backdoor open air area with ambient music by Nanda and Jason Frog. The sound system was very nice. Loud, crisp, crystal clear sound. I started with Nantzan to warm up a little for Prometheus. Very nice set, full-on sound, nice flow. Prometheus played all the tracks from his album plus a couple of tunes that I could not recognise (but had the same style and mood). So, not many surpises but again his album is very good stuff and really effective for the dancefloor. Then I went to see Ott live. Oh man.... just unbelievable... I was thinking that maybe I should stay to Dimitri because I wanted some more full energy dancing but Ott was spectacular. He started with a couple of tunes from his album as well (sommersettler and spliting the atom) so I thought he was going to, more or less, play the album as Benji did. But I was so wrong.... we got some really amazing new tunes in the same mood and style as the rest of his stuff. Each track he played was spectacular and the next one was always even better!! I asked him later and he told me most of them were collaborations with various people and he will start working on his second album at some point!! Anyway, he finished his live with Smoked glass and crome. Next, I (and a huge crowd) left the chill out room to see hallucingen live in the main room. Well, this was my first time to see the master playing live. He set the place on fire. His set was fast, hard, full with the demented and deranged sound we have come to expect! He started with a couple of old tunes (one from the lone deranger album and mi-looney-um) and then I could not recognize the rest. Maybe they were from the colloaboration with eat static. Anyway, everyone was enjoing the set, everyone was dancing really hard!! His last tune was a huge present for all of us who have been listening to the music since 95. He finished his live with Shamanix!!! It was unbelievable. I thought that my mind will explode or something. After that furious 1.30 hour in the main room, I decided to spend the rest of my time in the chill room, Perv playing a laid-back ambient/deep housey set. Very nice! Towards the end he started playing some more funky wicked experimental stuff! And that was it! All in all an amazing party. Excellent vibe, expertly organized, very very sucessful. Tanto1982 Δημοσ. 3 Ιουνίου 2004 Δημοσ. 3 Ιουνίου 2004 Kaiafas Festival The Kaiafas Festival will take place at Kaiafas Beach,that belongs to the municipality of Zaharo Ilias,from Friday evening the 23 of July 2004 till Monday morning the 26 of July 2004. Kaiafas Beach is the biggest sand beach in Europe,awarded with a blue flag by the European Union,and belongs to the municipality of Zaharo Ilias located 40km from the city of Pirgos and 20km from the ancient city of Olympia.The exact festival location and its camping are 200m away from the beach and 100m away from Kaiafas Lake. You can access the area of the festival directly from the centre of Athens by car (3 hours) by bus (4 hours) or by train (5 hours).Our foreigner friends can use Eleutherios Venizelos Airport (Athens) to arrive from their countries and then use private or public transportation to arrive directly to the festival area. The ticket prices will be 50 euros for presale and 60 euros at the door of the festival.Presale will begin in mid June till mid July all around the world.Presale in Greece will take place in special points all around the country that will be announced soon.For the rest of the world people will need to sent an e-mail,when the website will be ready in mid June,with their full name and passport number in order to reserve their tickets for the event.
