FSA binary distribution.

 

A. UNIX

1. unpack the archive in a suitable directory

tar xzf FILENAME

2. test by running `./fsa -tk' in that directory

 

NB: required: Tcl/Tk 8.3. If 'fsa' complains as follows:

! TCL

! goal: tcl_new/1

! Can't find a usable init.tcl in the following directories:

/usr/local/lib/tcl8.3 /usr/local/lib/tcl8.3

 

then you should define the environment variables TCL_LIBRARY and

TK_LIBRARY to point to the directories which contain the tcl and

tk library scripts. It might work if you have a different version.

 

3. Edit the Makefile to ensure that you like the directory in which

FSA will be installed. Also, you have a chance to choose a different

name for the resulting command (`TARGET').

 

run `make install'

 

 

B. WINDOWS

1. Run the self-installing executable InstallFsa.exe

 

Note that you need the tcl/tk libraries from http://www.scriptics.com. You

need 8.3.
