Elta Shipment Update - Help

Sorry guys I was expecting a delivery and was tracking my shipment.

Today I saw those updates in elta tracking.

Does that mean they came home and couldn't find me so they left a notification?

I was at home all day but nobody came, I also can't find any notification anywhere near the building entrance.

Also I can't understand the last part what does it mean, does (KK) mean something like courier?

DISPACTH CLOSED (-> KOMOTINI (KK) - ELTA)

(Sorry cant speak Greek trying to learn but it's really hard )

Should I go and pick it up from elta center or wait?

Hi, I believe that your delivery was sent to the local ELTA store for them to deliver it to you. One more step and it should reach you.

hello friend... here in greece parcels first go to an office (known as MD) there are postmans that try to deliver it (around 8-9 in the morning). sometimes they dont find the owner, sometimes they dont deliver it and just bring the notification paper, sometimes they just get bored... but 99% of times they leave a notification paper. after the failure of delivery for the above reasons they give the parcel to the central post office (your local post office) (known as KK) (in greek is Kentriko Katastima, thats why the two K's). the owner of the parcel can go to post office KK the day after the failure of delivery (except weekends)

so tomorrow morning (or even today after 18:00) you may see the tracking information KK-komotini item arrived at.  (or something like that)

so tommorow morning you should go to the local post office (your parcel should be there) and mention that you dont have any notification paper. they are still obligated to give you the item... so if you say that you dont have notification they should give you a paper to write down the tracking number. if they tell you that they cant give you the parcel because of the notification paper they are wrong, and you should insist!!! you just have to show your id and thats it
