Η ιστορία που θα αφηγείται το Myst 4 προηγείται χρονικά του URU και μάλιστα για αρκετά χρονια (περίπου 200 (?)). Οπότε είναι ασφαλές να υποθέσουμε ότι το παιχνίδι θα είναι πιο κοντά στα Myst, Riven, Exile παρά στο URU

 

Αν και το σενάριο του original Myst είχε κάποια (αρκετά) κενά, και το finale ήταν κάπως extreme και λίγο απότομο, ωστόσο το να γυρίζουν πάλι πίσω στην ίδια ιστορία μάλλον περισσότερο σύγχυση θα προκαλέσει παρά θα διαλευκάνει τα πράγματα. Μπορεί και να διαψευσθώ...

 

Σε κάθε περίπτωση μου φαίνεται ότι την "παρα-αρμέξανε" την αγελάδα του Myst.
