Τι συμβαίνει με τη Flutter?

Παιδιά τι γίνεται με την Flutter;

Πιστεύω ότι δεν υπάρχει youtuber (στο κομμάτι development) που δεν έχει ανεβάσει βίντεο σχετικό με τη Flutter!

Προσωπικά θα ασχοληθώ όταν γίνει release το κομμάτι το σχετικό με το web (αν και νομίζω δεν έχουν δώσει κάποια συγκεκριμένη release date).

I am older and done GUI development for almost 30 years. Xwindows, DecWindows, Motif, Windows, iOS, Android and then obviously Web. But many others. Including React, Angular and Electron.

Flutter easily has the best developer experience I have experienced.

You can see Flutter already has over 50k stars on GitHub and it is rare for anything to get this much engagement this quick.

Developer experience is key as it is where everything starts. But with Flutter you then get great performance and cross platform to the extreme. MacOS, GNU/Linux, Windows, iOS and Android. Now also Web. It makes for a great way to do a GUI on a iOT device.

But then it is the native environment for Flutter. Google has really outdone themselves here.

I expect Flutter to mow down other GUI development tools pretty quickly. Including React Native, Xamarin, Qt and Electron. Then take a bite out of iOS and Android native.

Flutter on desktop makes a ton of sense and will be a better choice than Electron. They are both built on the same engine, Skia, but Electron has so much extra that is not needed you get security issues.

Ήδη σαρώνει και αν πετύχει και το project hummingbird θα μιλάνε για τυφώνα πλέον που θα τα παρασύρει όλα στο πέρασμά του!

Άρχισα να ασχολούμαι λίγο τα Σαββατοκυριακα με Flutter.

Έχει φτάσει σχεδόν τα 80000 github stars και θα κουμπώσει και με το επερχόμενο Fuchsia OS οπότε το θεωρώ καλή επένδυση.
