forum me php

Ενδιαφέρομαι.. να φτιάξω ένα forum. (οχι κάτι επαγγελματικό..απλώς έτσι για να έχω κάτι να κάνω..)

κατέβασα το phpbb2 στο pc μου το αποσυμπίεσα.. μετά το ανέβασα όπως είναι στο Pathfinder που έχω εκει λογαριασμό αλλά ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες για install που έχει στο manual ... μου βγάζει μια σελίδα με ακαταλαβίστικα (install.php) και δεν μπορώ να ρυθμίσω τίποτα. μήπως η pathfinder δεν υποστηρίζει Php ?

Ίσως να κάνω λάθος, αλλά οι free υπηρεσίες δεν υποστηρίζουν php για λόγους ασφαλείας.

Ναι, το πιο λογικό είναι το PathFinder να μην υποστηρίζει PHP για δωρεάν χρήση. Θα πρέπει να βρεις ένα άλλο παροχέα δωρεάν χώρου που να υποστηρίζει PHP αλλά και MySQL...

Κι όμως συνεργάζεται μια χαρά...

Με Cute FTP Pro 3.x δέν έιχα κανένα πρόβλημα!!!

 

Να και οι ρυθμίσεις :

Εγώ έχω δουλέψει με Cute FTP Pro 3.1 και Cute FTP Pro 3.3 και δέν είχω κανένα πρόβλημα μέχρι και χτες το βράδυ(9/1/2004)...

Decompress the phpBB 2 archive to a local directory on your system.

Upload all the files contained in this archive (retaining the directory structure) to a web accessible directory on your server or hosting account.

Change the permissions on config.php to be writeable by all (666 or -rw-rw-rw- within your FTP Client)

Using your web browser visit the location you placed phpBB 2 with the addition of install/install.php, e.g. http://www.mydomain.com/phpBB2/install/install.php, http://www.mydomain.com/forum/install/install.php etc.

Fill out all the requested information and hit Submit

Change the permissions on config.php to be writeable only by yourself (644 or -rw-r--r-- within your FTP Client)

Click the Complete Installation button or revisit the location you entered above.

 

 

Once you have succssfully installed phpBB 2.0.6 you MUST ensure you remove the entire install/ and contrib/ directories. Leaving these in place is a very serious potential security issue which may lead to deletion or alteration of files, etc. Please note that until these directories are remove phpBB2 will not operate and a warning message will be displayed. Beyond these essential deletions you may also wish to delete the docs/ directories if you wish.

 

With these directories deleted you should proceed to the administration panel. Depending on how the installation completed you may have been directed there automatically. If not, login as the administrator you specified during install/upgrade and click the "Administration Panel" link at the bottom of any page. Ensure that details specified in General -> Configuration are correct!

Θα κάνεις exctarct όλα τα αρχεία απο το phpbb2.zip στο PC σου και μετά θα ανεβάσεις τον φάκελο phpbb2 ή τα περιεχόμενά του μέσω FTP στον λογαριασμό σου...

1. Αν το ανεβάσεις με τον φάκελο phpbb2 μετά θα βάλεις :

Επειδή το είχα ψάξει αρκετά όταν έφτιαχνα μία βδ με τις φωτογραφίες μου, ο lycos είναι ο μόνος που είχα βρει και προσφέρει δωρεάν υποστήριξη php και sql οπότε μην ψάχνεις για κάτι άλλο.

 

Και εγώ πάντως με ftp δουλεύω, λειτουργεί κανονικά. Βγάζει βέβαια bannerάκια αλλά τι να κάνουμε, free είναι
