'Streets of Rage' series that originally appeared on the SEGA megadrive/genesis, we always wanted to see streets of rage 4. But the waiting proved futile, and streets of rage 4 never came. That's why we tried to correct this mistake and fill the void by making the ultimate tribute to Streets of Rage:

Beats of Rage!!

 

 

Development

Beats of Rage was created by team Senile (that's us). However, the character sprites and some parts of the backgrounds are taken from 'the King of Fighters' games by SNK Playmore. Therefore special thanks go out to SNK Playmore and SEGA who unknowingly helped in creating this game.

 

The DOS version of Beats of Rage is fully completed, and can be downloaded at this site. The game is fully functional, includes music, has all six playable levels, and even a bonus level.

However, newer Windows systems (2000, XP) are unable to properly run the game, most often the sound is missing or very poor. Therefore, we are currently working on a Windows version of Beats of Rage, in order to improve the compatibility of the game.

Installation

- Download the PC version of Beats of Rage from the following location:

- Upload the BOR.PAK file to a directory on your XBox

 

- Upload the DEFAULT.XBE file to the same directory on your XBox

 

- Run the DEFAULT.XBE file

Usage

Use a controller in port 1 or port 2 to navigate the menus.

 

You can change the default controls via the in-game menus.

 

You can also change between the following graphic filters by pressing RTHUMB at any time:
