Σε ένα laptop (DELL used Latitude E6220, i5-2520M, 4GB, 250GB HDD, 12.5", http://www.dell.com/in/business/p/latitude-e6220/pd ), θέλω να προσθέσω άλλα 4 gb ram.

 

Το υπάρχων 4gb ram που έχει είναι αυτό:

Δοκίμασα όμως να βάλω από άλλο laptop Που έχω αυτό το 4gb ram module και τρέχει μια χαρά (15 ώρες τεστ με το memtest+):

Παντού που διαβάζω λένε να πάρω οποσδήποτε πανομοιότυπη ram.  Όμως η Hynix θα μου κοστίσει περισσότερα και είναι πιο αργή (αν θέλω να τη χρησιμοποιήσω αλλού). 

 

Αξίζει τον κόπο να επιμείνω στη Hynix, ή να πάρω την φτηνότερη και πιο καινούρια Kingston?

Εγώ στο laptop της κοπελιάς είχα το ίδιο θέμα, αλλά επέλεξα να πάω σε καινούρια, άλλης μάρκας, απλά κοιτώντας να έχει την ίδια τάση.

Θεωρητικά δεν θα έχεις θέμα.

T;ωρα βλέπω ότι το latency της kingston είναι 11-11-11 ενώ της hynix 9-9-9.  Και προσπαθώ να καταλάβω πως αυτό επιρεάζει τα πράγματα και τη συμβατότητα.

Δεν επηρεάζουν τίποτα.

Αν υπήρχε ασυμβατότητα δεν θα έπαιζαν από την αρχή, κοινώς δεν θα σου άναβε το λαπτοπ.

 

Απλώς η ποιό «γρήγορη» μνήμη κατεβαίνει και λειτουργεί στις ρυθμίσεις τις ποιό «αργής» αλλά δεν έχεις κανένα θέμα.

Στο αρχικό λαπτοπ, όταν είχα 2+4=6 gb ram, η εντολή sudo lshw έδειχνε 2 ram modules, με δύο διαφορετικές ταχύτητες.  Τελικά σε ποια ταχύτητα τρέχανε οι ram?  Με ποια εντολή μπορώ να το δώ αυτό (στα ubuntu)?

Τελικά έβαλα στο καινούριο (στο DELL) δύο πανομοιότυπα Kingston 2x4GB ( http://www.e-shop.gr/ram-kingston-kvr13s9s8-4-4gb-so-dimm-ddr3-1333mhz-pc3-10600-p-PER.550510 ).

 

Και έβαλα στο παλιό στο ACER τα δύο περίσια 2x4gb που είχα.

Μετά από ένα μήνα με αρκετή χρήση και των δύο λαπτοπ, περισσότερο του Dell, δεν είχα κανένα πρόβλημα.
