Can not delete .avi files!

Παιδιά δεν μπορώ να να σβήσω σχεδόν κανένα καινούριο αρχείο .avi που έχω κατεβάσει/εγκαταστήσει/δημιουργήσει! Μου λέει ότι χρησιμοποιείται από άλλο πρόγραμμα (???)! Ξέρετε τι συμβαίνει???

Μήπως είναι ιός???

δοκιμασε να μπεις σε safe mode και σβηστο απο εκει!καλου κακου ψαξε και με ενα antivirus(ιδιως αν κατεβαζεις απο kazaa)

επισης πατα ctrl-alt-del και δες αν τρεχει καμια υποπτη διεργασια!

The fix for Windows XP not letting you delete .avi

 

I've seen this coming up more and more all over the place so I figured I'd stick it here.

 

Avi files (divx) can be trouble in xp. there is a fix to let xp behave much better so it's possible to move or delete large avi files. The obnoxious bug in XP that causes Explorer to read the entire contents of broken AVI files before allowing any access to them is caused by bad behavior of shmedia.dll.

 

To correct this misbehavior in Windows XP, remove the following

registry key.

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesCLSID{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}InProcServer32

 

This will prevent Explorer from loading shmedia.dll in response to file property queries on these files.

 

Just an extra note, if you do a "search" for this key it will not be found, look for it manually it is very easy to find. As always newbie or not, if you FUBAR your registry its your own fault. This fix does work, I use it and have applied it to many XP machines. Now go ahead and fix this royal pain in the ass!

ή πήγαινε κατευθείαν στο Command Pompt, μπές στο FOLDER που είναι το avi και δώσε την εντολή >> DELETE aviname.avi ...αθάνατο DOS...δε μασαει. Safe modε δεν χρειαζεται. Χάνεις χρόνο.

Πράγματι φίλε Μάριε, η συγκεκριμένη λύση έπιασε.

Όμως αυτό που δεν μπόρεσα να καταλάβω από την παραπάνω εξήγηση είναι ο λόγος που προκαλείται το πρόβλημα (Δεν καταλαβαίνω τι εννοεί ο τύπος, Lower είναι αυτό, τώρα θα πάμε για Proficiency ).

Τι δουλειά έκανε το παραπάνω κλειδί που αφαίρεσα?

Δεν θα υπάρχει κανένα πρόβλημα με την αφαίρεσή του?

Το πρόβλημα μου παρουσιάστηκε εδώ και λίγο καιρό. Δεν υπήρχε πριν?

Να σου πω την καθαρή μου αλήθεια(τα Εγγλέζικά μου περιορίζονται ελαφρώς στο "Ντου γιου λάϊκ μαμαζέλ δε Γκρης"),ούτε πολυκατάλαβα τι θέλει να πει ο Φραγκολεβαντίνος.Μου φτάνει όμως ότι διόρθωσε το πρόβλημά μου( και το ευχαριστώ) και ότι δεν μου έχει δημιουργήσει -ως τώρα- καμία "ενόχληση" στο λειτουργικό...
