CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk will feature a story with smoother learning curve, won’t be dumbed down

 

As CD Projekt’s head of marketing, Michal Platkow-Gilewski said:

 

“Players should be able to choose how deep they want to enter the story or the plot. If they’re really hardcore, they can really dig deeper and deeper and deeper, and if they’re just casual, they can still learn about the characters and the story, but they’ll do that by going in another direction.”

CD Projekt has said plans to modernize the setting of Cyberpunk due to the original being conceptualized during the 1980s.

Incoming details about CD Projekt RED’s ‘Cyberpunk’ game; special surprise for The Witcher 2 modders

 

The developers of The Witcher franchise CD Projekt RED studio and GOG.com the DRM-free, digital distribution platform will host a Special Event on the 18th of October at 18:00. (GMT). As the company suggested, new Games, New OSes, Cyberpunk Announcements, and Something Special for Witcher 2 Modders will all be announced at this live webcast Special Event. The whole event will be streamed online on The Witcher’s Official FB Page or GOG.

CD Projekt RED's 'Cyberpunk' now 'Cyberpunk 2077'

CD Projekt RED's in-development future-RPG Cyberpunk is now Cyberpunk 2077, the developer has just announced during a GOG livestream. Beyond its new title, the game was also revealed to be a sandbox game set in Night City, a location from the original Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop pen-and-paper RPG on which the new game is based.
