NBA Live 13 Returns This Fall

 

EA Sports' long-standing basketball series is coming back this year.

 

The publisher confirmed the new game and promised more details soon. "This fall we'll launch an all-new experience that captures the future of basketball with NBA Live 13," EA said. "More to come soon."

 

First word about the game got out when 2011 first round draft pick Kyrie Irving recently tweeted he saw the game. "Just left @EASPORTS and got a sneak peak of #NBALIVE13 with the @EASPORTSNBA team. Head to their FB page on Monday for more info," he said.

 

It's been a rocky road from EA Sports' basketball game recently. The publisher pulled the plug on newly rebranded NBA Elite 11 a week before release due to quality issues and did not release a basketball title in 2010 or 2011. Development has since shifted to EA's Tiburon studio based in Florida.
