αποτροπή παράλληλα συνδεδεμένων χρηστών php login script

Εντωμεταξύ, ΔΥΣΤΥΧΩΣ χρειάστηκε να μετακινήσω το φάκελο login με όλο το script μεσα, απο τo path /admins/login στο /login και ενώ άλλαξα όλα τα path στα include γίνεται το εξής:

με το που πατάω στο login, γίνονται όλες οι διαδικασίες κανονικά, με προσθέτει στον πίνακα των active users αλλά δεν παίρνει τιμή η μεταβλητή $session->logged_in (με την οποία έλεγχω αν έχει γίνει login και δείχνω το αντίστοιχο περιεχόμενο στην σελίδα). τι μπορεί να ξέχασα να αλλάξω;

παιδιά, θέλω στο παραπάνω script να προσθέσω μαζί με τον έλεγχο έαν υπάρχει ήδη το username κατα το registration, να ελέγχω εαν υπάρχει και το mail ήδη.

τι κάνει το get_magic_quotes_gpc και τι το addslashes($username)? Σε περίπτωση που χρησιμοποιήται για την προστασία από sql injection attacks τότε λογικά δεν πρέπει να έχεις πρόβλημα εάν όχι τότε δοκίμασε να τα αφαιρέσεις και να δοκιμάσεις χωρίς αυτά

αυτο ακριβώς κάνει γιαυτό δεν τα αφαιρώ, έτσι κ αλλιώς στον έλεγχο του username δεν υπάρχει προβλημα, τον έλεγχο του mail δεν μπορώ να επιτύχω..
