After the fourth world war, the world lies in shatters. The only survivors are divided into two opposing races, the Noblians and Floressla. They have been in an ongoing war with each other for centuries. In order to survive, both races try to claim the rare mineral Earthdium, one to rebuild civilization, the other to save the sound remains of Mother Nature. Soon you will have to enter this war.

Online games publisher burda:ic has announced that the closed beta testing phase for the upcoming steampunk / fantasy MMORPG, Argo Online, has officially kicked off. Lucky gamers who got keys for the closed beta test can register and get started in Argo Online here. The closed beta will continue until March 22.

"Argo Online promises to be our most expansive and immersive title yet, throwing gamers headfirst into a huge world teeming with content," said Achim Kaspers, Managing Director of burda:ic. "We can’t wait for players to finally experience it firsthand, and hope all the closed beta testers enjoy what we have in store for them over the next couple weeks!"

 

For those two weeks of testing, players will be able to sample the following features:

* 20 different territories

* Two unique races to choose from with five of eight classes each

* Futuristic, steampunk-themed world activated up to Level 30

* Hundreds of quests in five different categories

* Crafting system with multiple upgrade options for items

* Resource system (based on the mineral Earthdium) for skills (dash, attack, defense)

* Six professions to experience

* PvP and raid dungeons to explore with friends

* Different mounts for both factions (Floresslah: Animal mounts / Noblian: Steampunk vehicles)

* Deep achievement system

* Pet system with two completely different faction designs

 

Argo Online is a futuristic, steampunk-themed MMORPG featuring thousands of quests and a wide variety of PvP modes. The game will also sport classic MMO features like a pet system, unique professions, and auctions. Argo Online officially launches in North America and Europe this spring.

Είμαι στην closed beta .. ένα θα πω .. η κίνηση μου φάνηκε ελεεινή και το έκλεισα.. αλλα εντάξει μπορεί να είμαι μονο εγώ που το πρώτο πράγμα που κοιτάζω σε ένα mmo είναι το gameplay του.
