Dr_73 Δημοσ. 29 Ιουνίου 2010 Δημοσ. 29 Ιουνίου 2010 Έχω ένα παλιό σκάνερ. Το HP 4400c. Δουλεύει άψογα , αλλά είναι μηχάνημα που είχε αγορασθεί την εποχή των Windows 98! Η "μαμά" HP έβγαλε drivers για το επόμενο λειτουργικό της Microsoft , τα ΧΡ , αλλά μετά ... τζίφος! Ούτε για τα αποτυχημένα Vista , ουτε για τα νέα Windows 7. Στο τελευταίο pc που έστησα , έβαλα Windows 7 Pro 64bit. Ξέρει κανείς πως θα μπορούσα να σκανάρω σε αυτά, με το συγκεκριμένο σκανερ;;

4 Ιουλίου 2010 We are just beginning the Release Candidate phase of the beta and this is typically the time when the base code of the new OS is considered 'code complete' which means that few changes, other than bug fixes that can be implemented without radical changes to the code, will be performed. This is also the beta phase when hardware manufacturers will complete work on building their drivers for the new OS, without the need to worry about any major changes in the code interfering. As a result, during this phase you will typically see an acceleration in the availability of new hardware drivers. If this device is critical for you, there is another solution that does not involve any expense, as long as you have a qualifying system. The Windows Virtual PC is a new freely available program that is designed for Windows 7. This comes with a specially configured VHD (Virtual Hard Drive) called XP Mode, Which is a specially configured, fully licensed version of Windows XP. When configured properly you can install a program/hardware device, with drivers designed to run on Windows XP and it will place a shortcut to the program directly on the Windows 7 Start Menu. When you select that shortcut, the program/device will run, seamlessly, just as if it was installed directly in Windows 7, but it will actually be running in the XP Mode. The following links will get you up to speed with all of the information about this new add-on. Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode: Home Page http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx Windows Virtual PC Download http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx We also have a newly opened forum where you can get answers directly from some of the Microsoft people who are developing this new project. Windows 7 Virtualization Forum http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprovirt/threads Hope this helps. ...............
