Ελπιζω να ανταποκριθει στα δεδομενα της σημερινης εποχης και να μπει δυναμικα στον χωρο διοτι εχουν περασει αρκετα χρονια απο την ανακοινωση ενος τιτλου απο το FIREFLY STUDIOS. After working for the past couple of years on a game that later went on hold, developer Firefly Studios is going back to basics. The UK-based developer has now confirmed that it is developing Stronghold 3, the latest game in their long running historical RTS-sim game series. Little info on the game itself has been released so far other than the fact that Southpeak Games will publish the title for release in spring 2011. Firefly's last major game project was supposed to be Dungeon Hero, a fantasy action-RPG. The game got a publishing deal with GameCock but Southpeak did not bring that game along to its lineup when it purchased GameCock in late 2008. A teaser web site for Stronghold 3 has launched with a simple yet effective animation. ABOUT THIS GAME This is the third chapter in FireFly Studios's hit castle-sim and siege-warfare RTS franchise. In Stronghold 3, castle building -- the foundation of the franchise -- has been significantly improved, providing players with unprecedented control over the placement of buildings. This allows them to create their kingdom with a precision that compliments their carefully planned tactics. What's more, village planning is no longer confined to a grid system; players can now create castle walls that flow gracefully ... until they’re blasted to pieces by the enemy. On top of Stronghold 3's innovations in castle construction, night sieges have been introduced, opening up a range of new possibilities and tactics. Players will have to hunt enemy soldiers cloaked in darkness and carefully choose their weapons in order to survive the dark hours. A state-of-the-art graphics engine lets you view your buildings in stunning detail. From villagers going about their everyday lives, to soldiers preparing for war or people suffering from the plague, players are given a highly-detailed snapshot of medieval life. Additionally, a refined physics engine with procedural destruction adds intensity and drama to siege warfare as you watch your castle -- or that of your enemy -- crumble into ruin before your eyes.

Almost a decade after the first game in the series launched, Stronghold 3 is gold. "Firstly we want to thank fans for waiting patiently for Stronghold 3, it's been a long time coming but we wanted to make sure we created something really special," said Simon Bradbury, lead designer at Firefly Studios. "This is the 'ultimate Stronghold', featuring the best bits from previous titles and some fantastic new elements - like night time sieges and a cutting edge graphics engine." The game goes live in shops as a boxed game and in digital shops, including Steam. Pre-order it there and you get the first Stronghold free, as well as the Tower of London single-player stage.
