>dmesg |grep hal

>X -configure

Τελός καλό είναι να παραθέσεις τα /etc/X11/xorg.conf και /var/log/Xorg.0.log

# Uncomment this to disable the <Ctrl><Alt><Fn> VT switch sequence

# (where n is 1 through 12). This allows clients to receive these key

#    Option     "DontZoom"

# Uncomment this to disable tuning with the xvidtune client. With
# it the client can still run and fetch card and monitor attributes,

# receive a protocol error.

#    Option     "DisableVidModeExtension"

# Uncomment this to enable the use of a non-local xvidtune client.

>X -configure

για να σου φτιάξει αυτόματα το xorg.conf.

>X -config /root/xorg.conf.new

>sudo cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf

>Option    "AllowEmptyInput"   "off"

emerge --update --newuse --deep world

σαν root

και rc-update add hald boot η hal δεν το θυμαμαι

rc-update add dbus boot

rc-update add procfs boot

rc-update add udev sysinit

και revdep-rebuild

Έχω ATI Radeon 9200 PRO.

To dmesg |grep hal δεν δίνει τίποτα.

Δεδομένου ότι με το X -configure δεν γίνεται δουλειά, πώς μπορώ να φτιάξω αλλιώς το xorg.conf αρχείο;

>emerge --update --newuse --deep world
rc-update add hald boot

και

>emerge x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev

hald_enable="YES"

dbus_enable="YES"

άλλη μία στο etc/make.conf:

INPUT_DEVICES="evdev"

έδωσα emerge -uDNav world

έκανα reboot
