Πρόβλημα με HP Mini110 και bios password

Καλημέρα, εχω ενα HP Mini110 με bios password το οποιο εβαλε το αδερφακι μου και δε το θυμαται.

 

εβγαλα τη μπαταρια, τπτ, κατεβασα κατι προγραμματακια να κανω reset το pass με floppy boot τπτ.

 

προτου κανει οτιδηποτε ζηταει pass.

any ideas?

Το ίδιο συνέβη σε φίλο μου. Στην αντιπροσωπία της HP του είπαν πως πρέπει να γίνει αντικατάσταση ολόκληρης της motherboard και μάλιστα ΧΩΡΙΣ να καλύπτεται από την εγγύηση!

 

Τελικά πήγε και αγόρασε άλλο.

Δοκίμασε το παρακάτω και πες μας

 

The solution is very simple, you need to do blind flash in order to recover the BIOS. The methood is tested and working. All you need is a BIOS xxxxx.rom file for mini 700/1000, can be found in the forum, no matters the version, you can reflash the latest official bios from the HP site via Windows later. And you need an USB floppy drive. I don't know if it will work with USB flash drive, but you can try it.

1.Format a floppy disk, FAT ,no need to do it bootable.

2.Copy the original .rom file and rename it to AMIBOOT.ROM (case sensitive)

3.Remove the battery of your mini, leave only the AC power adapter plugged.

4.Plug the USB floppy drive.

5.Press and hold CTRL+HOME keys (the right sided CTRL and the key right next to it)

6.Press the power button and keep pressing CTRL+HOME for 7-8 sec, until you hear the floppy drive reading.

7.The computer will rewrite the BIOS and will restart in 5-10 minutes. In my case it did't do the restart itself,so i left it for 20 minutes and unplugged the power cord.

That's it. After that the new BIOS is written and all the passwords are cleared, you can access the BIOS now. If you don't succeed, try differnt BIOS file. I don't remember witch one i used. This methood can help all the people who flashed wrong or corrupted BIOS to their Mini 700,1000.
