Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Announced

 

Ubisoft has announced a new entry in its Prince Of Persia franchise, titled Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

 

Releasing in May 2010 alongside Disney’s Prince Of Persia feature film, the console and handheld title* will mark a return to the Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time storyline and be targeted at both “core and casual” gamers.

 

“Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince Of Persia brand,” Ubisoft said in a statement.

 

According to Kotaku, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said during the publisher’s second half 2009 financial results call: "The goal is to reach both audiences, the core and casual gamers. It will be a game that will have lots of combat, with the possibility for gamers that are not as good - a level for beginners. In that sense we are trying to cover both groups."

Ας είναι όμως και badass ο πρίγκηπας.

Ε σίγουρα θα κάνανε και ένα 2ο cel-shaded. Η σειρά γενικά τα σπάει απο το sands of time ακόμα, αλλα δεν μπορώ να χωνέψω με τίποτα το απαράδεκτο σύστημα μάχης. Οκ προσπάθησαν να αποδώσουν κάπως το στύλ της μάχης στα παλιά prince of persia, αλλα φτάνει.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will expand the Prince of Persia universe with a new storyline, the introduction of new characters, and new powers over nature and time. The game takes place between Prince of Persia The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia Warrior Within.

 

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is the next chapter in the fan-favorite Sands of Time universe. Visiting his brother's kingdom following his adventure in Azad, the Prince finds the royal palace under siege from a mighty army bent on its destruction. When the decision is made to use the ancient power of the Sand in a desperate gamble to save the kingdom from total annihilation, the Prince will embark on an epic adventure in which he will learn to bear the mantle of true leadership,and discover that great power often comes with a great cost.
