Ρύθμιση HD ανάλυσης

 

Γεια χαρά παίδες. Αγόρασα πρόσφατα μια μεταχειρισμένη 24inch dell και δεν έχω καταφέρει να

την χρησιμοποιήσω στο debian ακόμα. Σας στέλνω τα logs και το xorg.conf γιατί έχω απελπιστεί...

 

 

ακολουθεί το xorg.conf που έχω και ένα log από τον xserver...

 

έχω δοκιμάσει ότι ξερω και δεν ξέρω. Ελπίζω σε βοήθεια σας για να μπορέσω επιτέλους να χρησιμοποιήσω το PC με την

νέα οθόνη.

PS1:

ένα πραγμα που μου έκανε εντύπωση (αν και δεν ειμαι σίγουρος οτι θα σας βοηθήσει) είναι το εξής.

 

Όταν ρυθμίζω virtual screen size σε 1920 1200 και κάνω $xrandr -q μου εμφανίζει μέσα στις αναλύσεις και την 1920x1200

στην συνέχεια αν εκτελέσω xrandr -s 10 (για να επιλέξω την ανάλυση 1920x1200) τότε παίρνω την ανάλυση χωρίς όμως να χωράει ολόκληρη

στην οθόνη , γιατί για κάποιο παράξενο λόγο θεωρεί το physical size της οθόνης 1280x1024. Λέω παράξενο γιατί τα DDC gathered Modelines:

περιλαμβάνουν την ανάλυση 1920x1200....:w

 

PS2:

έχω debian5.0 με τον τελευταίο stock πυρήνα...

Ελπίζω με τα παρακάτω να απαντάω στην ερώτησή σου, αν όχι πες να ξαναδοκιμασω :P

 

Δοκίμασα να κάνω εγκατάσταση τον driver για την nvidia με την διαδικασία που βρήκα εδώ http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers, με την debian-specific διαδικασια και οχι τον driver από το site της nvidia. Δυστυχώς δεν υπήρχε prebuilt driver για τον πυρήνα ( 2.6.30 αν θυμάμαι καλά). Οπότε και δεδομένου οτι δεν με πολυ ενδιαφέρει το 3d acceleration δοκίμασα τον nv driver και ακόμα δοκίμασα να μην κάνω specify τον driver στο xorg.conf... Πάλι όμως δεν κατάφερα να δουλέψω στην σωστή ανάλυση.

 

Ξαναλέω οτι στην παρούσα φάση ενδιαφέρομαι να δουλέψω στην σωστή ανάλυση ( 1920x1200 ) και όχι για τίποτα fancy...

Αν υποθεσουμε οτι εισαι σε debian stable (5.0)

 

- αν δεν εχεις βαλει το repo των backports, τοτε θα επρεπε να εισαι με τον 2.6.26 πυρηνα και με τον 173.x σαν τελευταιο driver στα repos, τα οποια συνεργαζονται κανονικα μεταξυ τους.

 

- αν εχεις βαλει το repo των backports, τοτε θα επρεπε να εισαι με τον 2.6.30...

 

Εδω συμβαινει το εξης παραδοξο. Ο 173.x δεν γινεται compile με τον 2.6.30, και θες τον 185.x ο οποιος γινεται compile με τον 2.6.30 κανονικα, αλλα... δεν κανει για την καρτα σου, μιας και ο 173.x ειναι ο τελευταιος που την υποστηριζει. Μετα απο αυτον η καρτα περναει στις legacy, και θελεις κανονικα το nvidia-kernel-legacy-173xx-source απο το unstable για να δοκιμασεις να κανεις compile.

 

Ξεκαθαρισε αρχικα ποιον πυρηνα εχεις.

 

Οι εντολες που αναφερεις θα επρεπε να ειναι με αυτη τη σειρα, εχοντας παντα τα module-assistant και nvidia-kernel-source απο το repo του stable εγκατεστημενα.

(αφου τελειωσει τα οσα κανει)

>apt-get install nvidia-glx

(για να βαλεις και το module που αναφερεται στο σφαλμα του log του xorg)
