Scivelation Announced

 

Scivelation is an ambitious, story driven, action game. Armed with the Unreal III Engine, Scivelation will transform the Third-Person Shooter genre into an unrelenting interactive experience, hurling the player into a blockbuster journey, steeped in conflict and veiled in uncertainty.

 

Set in the distant future, Scivelation’s universe is a world born out of the ashes of conflict and misery. An oppressive global dictatorship, known as the Regime, has risen to power after the aftermath of the Apocalypse; aggressively seeking out and eliminating any opposition to their tyrannical government. With this capricious, dystopian reality as a backdrop, the player will take his or her place amongst the ranks of the resistance, waging war throughout the furthest reaches of the globe in this action-packed battle for freedom and survival.

 

Scivelation originated from the Source engine powered 3rd person action gane Salvation, which is now canceled, with complete character redesigns, a completely reworked story assisted by North American writers and voice overs.

 

Scivelation is slated for a mid-2010 release for PC and next-gen consoles.

για να δούμε θα έχουμε ένα καλό παιχνίδι ή κανά άθλιο κλώνο του υπέρτατου gears of war(ακόμη περιμένω το 2 στο pc...)...λέγε με terminator salvation...

απο τις εικόνες και μόνο δύσκολο να κρίνεις...έτσι την είχα πατήσει με το terminator(και ως μεγάλος fan των ταινιών) και το περίμενα πως και πως μένοντας αρχικά εντυπωσιασμένος απο τα screenshots..όταν βγήκε όμως είδαμε τι μούφα ήταν...

Scivelation hitting 360 along with PC during Q3 2010

 

Topware Interactive has announced that it will be the US publisher for Scivelation, the upcoming Unreal Engine III-based third person shooter.

 

Set for PC and Xbox 360 for Q3 2010, the game’s currently in development at Ukraine-based Black Wing Foundation, and is set in the future with an oppressive government known as the Regime in charge.

 

The setting and story, according to the PR, was inspired by the works of Orwell, Milton and Dante with addition of running, gunning, sneaking, and driving through a post-Apocalyptic world.
