TrackMania 2 Revealed

 

 

TrackMania 2 has been unveiled at the Paris Game Festival, as a number of comments on the TrackMania Forums indicate. This post has links to pictures of the racing sequel's unveiling on Twitter, while some tweets from this French Twitter feed indicate the game is expected next year. Last but not least, there's a ShakyCam video of a game trailer on YouTube.

TrackMania 2 Details

 

The German Trackmania blog as gathered the following information so far:

• Time of development up to now: Three years

• Environments in the game: Three

• Platforms: PC only

• Classification: Full game, no add-on

• Minimal system requirements: Not higher than for Trackmania Nations Forever

• Publisher: Focus Home Interactive in France and probably Deep Silver in Germany; information about other countries is not available yet

 

Furthermore Trackmania 2 is said to offer the following improvements compared to the predecessor:

• New lighting system

• Importing of own blocks into the game

• Maniascript: TM programming language for Manialinks and the Maniatracker

• Enhanced Mediatracker

• New game modes: Campaign, co-op, split screen, cup

• Enhanced track editor

• High Quality Video Shooting Mode

First Trackmania 2 screenshot released

 

Nadeo’s released the first screenshot from racing game sequel Trackmania 2.

 

The game’s developer finally posted a screenshot on the Maniaplanet’s forums this week.

 

The game was first announced, officially, nearly a year ago at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference in June 2010.

 

While the title, part of Nadeo’s plan to release a trio of PC games under the Maniaplanet label, was supposed to start beta testing by the end of 2010, that came and went with little notice.

 

Team representatives were still pretty vague about when the beta will start, but hopefully a first glimpse means progress is being made.

TrackMania 2: Canyon release date

 

TrackMania 2: Canyon launches on 14th September, Ubisoft has announced.

 

The PC online racing game costs £19.99.

 

If you pre-purchase the game from the Ubishop from 17th August, you're guaranteed a place in the multiplayer beta, which begins on the same day.

 

TrackMania 2 is the first game to use the new ManiaPlanet network system, a connected system that offers a map editor, the players' creations explorer and ranking and match-making systems.

τι γίνεται, φέτος είχαν όλα τα studios έφεση για τρομερά παιχνίδια; αν θες να τα παίξεις όλα, πρέπει να δώσεις ένα 300ευρω στο χαλαρό (για απλές εκδόσεις, όχι CE κτλ)
