Is the South Park production process breaking down? First you have Butters and Cartman going through weird plotlines in this run. Second, you have episode 802 making references to "future" episodes as if they've already happened (line them up in numerical order, you have Cartman's mother saying something happened two weeks ago that won't happen until 804 - which would make perfect sense if what was shown tonight were 806 and not 802). Third, in "Casa Bonita" we learn that Butters' birthday is a month before Kyle's, which is on May 26, so his birthday should be in April, [Kyle: This Saturday, for my birthday, my Mom says she's takin' me to Casa Bonita, in Denver, and I get to invite three friends! ... I'm gonna take Butters. He invited me to his birthday party last month, so I owe him one.], not September 11. Fourth, the indignity Cartman suffers in 802 seems to be a reaction to opinions on the SPS BBS that Cartman has become too evil to be funny anymore. Fifth, you have this weird disclaimer about tragic events in Hawaii that has the fans bewildered, wondering if something really DID happen in Hawaii, some news item they've missed. And that fifth point brings up the big problem with the fans: if viewers are gonna ask if something serious really did happen in Hawaii to postpone the Lemmiwinks episode, those viewers shouldn't be watching the show. At all. Facetiousness is beyond them.
