Ποια είναι η διαφορά (αφορά ups);

Έχω το ups της nova (1250) και στις επιλογές του προγράμματος για τον τερματισμό του υπολογιστή μου έχει αυτές τις 2:

 

1) Shutdown (default selection). This option shuts down your applications and the system, but does not de-energise the computer. The system offers the user the choice to de-energise the computer, in which case it is the UPS that cuts power.

On most NT, 2000 and XP systems, this configuration is necessary if the server should restart as soon as AC power returns.

On 95, 98 and Me systems, electrical (complete) shutdown is systematic. However, on computers with a recent BIOS, it is possible to shutdown the system without de-energising.

 

 

2) Power off (system de-energised). This option shuts down your applications and the system, and de-energises the computer. This configuration is advised if you wish to be on hand when the system restarts.

 

Εγώ από ότι κατάλαβα και οι 2 κάνουν το ίδιο πράγμα σωστά;

1η επιλογή μόλις επιστρέψει το ρεύμα στο δίκτυο θα ξεκινήσει ο υπολογιστής μόνος του ενώ στην δεύτερη περίπτωση πρέπει να τον ξεκινήσεις με το χέρι..
