Söderlund: Well, as of now, we are not going to make any modding tools, no.

Söderlund: Because if you look at the Frostbite engine, and how complex it is, it’s going to be very difficult for people to mod the game, because of the nature of the set up of levels, of the destruction and all those things… it’s quite tricky. So we think it’s going to be too big of a challenge for people to make a mod.

Αυτός είναι του GT; Καλά, αυτός είναι 80% Pro-console / anti-BF. Άλλωστε το GT δεν έβαλε πουθενά στα Best of E3 του το BF3 σαν πρώτο, ούτε σε γραφικά, ούτε σε multiplayer, όπου τα πήρε νομίζω το Uncharted 3 ε;

Για τα mod tools στο release, πιστεύω πως λένε την αλήθεια περί πολυπλοκότητας. Παλιά που μιλούσα με έναν BF2 modder, μου είχε πει ότι για να φτιαχτεί ένας BF2 χάρτης χρειάζονταν περίπου 24 "καλές" ώρες δουλειάς (για ένα άτομο). Τώρα αν είδες και το pdf που έβαλα κάτι post πριν για τις τεχνικές φωτισμού κτλ της Frostbyte, φαίνονται όντως πολύπλοκα και αυτός ο χρόνος μπορεί κάλιστα τώρα να είναι 1 "καλή" εβδομάδα ή 1 "καλός" μήνας δουλειάς (για ένα άτομο). Θα μου πεις βέβαια ότι αν πλακώσουν οι ομάδες modders η δουλειά μπορεί να βγει πάλι σε 1 ημέρα... θέλω να πιστεύω ότι κάποια στιγμή (μετά το 6μηνο ίσως) θα βγάλουν κάποιο SDK. Εγώ στη θέση τους αυτό θα έκανα, και επίσης θα διάλεγα τα καλύτερα community maps και θα τα διέθετα κατόπιν σαν δωρεάν official maps (για να μπορούν να μπούνε σε ranked servers), έτσι και οι modders είναι ευχαριστημένοι και εγώ φαίνομαι μεγαλόψυχος

 

Για τον Keily ναι, του GT παρουσιαστής είναι, αν δεις το interview συνέχεια προσπαθεί να δικαιολογήσει το cod και να γυρίσει εκεί την κουβέντα, άλλα όλοι οι άλλοι τον έχουν γραμμένο

Να το κάνω κι εγώ pre-order από πλαίσιο λες?

δίνουν και μερικά (3-5 νομίζω) σχέδια για dogtags ("dogtags dlc") εκτός του karkhand, οπότε συμφέρει (σε σχέση με multirama που δεν έχει τα dogtags). Τώρα σίγα τα ωά, πιθανόν τα σχέδια αυτά να τα παίρνεις αργότερα στο παιχνίδι... βέβαια μπορεί να είναι και exclusive, όπως το dogtag στο crysis 2 le.

 

Εγώ πάντως για τον αδερφό μου από το ΠΛΑΙΣΙΟ θα το προπαραγγείλω (τώρα που θα πεταχτώ κι από εκεί ), και για μένα από εκεί θα το έπαιρνα αν ήμουν Ελλάδα στις 25/10.
