Our vision is to create a historical fiction game that will put you in the center of the medieval world, full of its cruelty, intransigence and diversified beliefs. In this ruthless reality, you will become an eyewitness of great political machinations, unseen brutality and betrayal. You will pave your way to the truth just to find that it is more horrible and dreadful than anyone could imagine.

 

As an armed man of the newborn Inquisition, you will fight heretics, exorcise the possessed, face demons and unintentionally become part of an intrigue that will open the doors for the Apocalypse. Realizing that the whole of mankind is standing on the verge of doom, you will have to use all the physical and spiritual abilities your character ever acquired to face the fiends of hell and, finally, discover the Mystery of the Inquisition.

 

Immersed in the dark epic plot, you will experience the 13th century world. We will apply the latest technology to present an outstanding reality rich in authentic locations and characters. Hellion will be a journey through life-like medieval settings full of wild animals, rough warriors, powerful Templar knights, deadly assassins and, ultimately, horrifying demons.

 

Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition, developed by Flying Fish Works, is coming on X360, PS3 and PC in 2010.

Flying Fish Works, formed by ex-Witcher and Two Worlds staff, unveil Godric of Glastonbury, the protagonist in their evil-smiting first-person shooter, set in the 13th Century:

 

As the satanic brood turns the world into chaos, today Flying Fish Works announces the main character for their upcoming product “Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition”. “Godric of Glastonbury”, a European sword master full of honor and devotion to the Holy Roman Church, is a religious servant during the unpromising resistance against the inconceivable evil.

 

A horrible incidence in his younger days decide “Godric” to become a master of sword fighting. Full of grief and aware of omnipresent injustice he left his homeland to revenge the past. On his journey across Europe, “Godric” joined the Dominicans, dedicated to the Pope, preaching and converting the non-believers. The Dominicans decided to reveal their arcane to “Godric”, including their knowledge of the supernatural and their ways of resisting both spiritual and incarnate evil. “Godric” gained knowledge of exorcism and together with his will to accomplish his fate he became a very unique knight.

 

“Hellion: Mystery of the inquisition” is an extraordinary First-Person-Shooter set in the 13th century. As an armed man of the newborn Inquisition, the player will battle heretics, execute exorcisms, face demons and unintentionally become part of a political and religious intrigue. It is an epic journey through different medieval cultures full of real-life characters, wild animals, rough warriors, powerful Templar knights, deadly assassins and, ultimately, horrifying demons.

Hellion: Mystery Of The Inquisition Trailer

 

Flying Fish Works, Polish videogame developer announced today that their new product – Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition will feature 11 diverse and faithfully represented locations all over 13th Century Europe and Asia. Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition is in development for Xbox360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms and is due out in 2011.
