mandriva 2008.1 & T220 DVI

κανε αυτα που λεει ο jim και αν δεν το λυσεις δοκιμασε να τσεκαρεις και το force display DVI στις ρυθμισεις της καρτας στο control center

αν δεν το εχεις σημαινει πως μπηκε απο την 2009,0 και μετα ή την 2009,1 (; )

 

Τελικά η επιλογη αυτη εχει να κανει με το εξης :

It will force the use of the xorg.conf provided ModeLine generated by

XFdrake. By default the proprietary NVIDIA driver ignores the timings

for DVI and instead uses those provided by the display (and maybe some

driver-specific timings).

 

Its most common use case is forcing a non-standard resolution on DVI

port (the resolution being selected in XFdrake), needed if the display

does not report it as supported.

 

It is also usable e.g. in the case when the display reports timings that

are not within the card's capabilities (but those in xorg.conf/XFdrake

are, and also work with the display).

δυσκολο να το καταλαβει κανεις αλλα φαινεται να βοηθαει πολυ σε περιπτωση προβλημαρων με το dvi.
