Το rFactor 2 ειναι η υπό αναπτυξη συνεχεια του, πολυ καλου simulation racing, rFactor.

 

H επιτυχια του πρωτου rFactor οφειλονταν σε μεγαλο βαθμο στα πολυ καλα mods που δημιουργηθηκαν για αυτο, στο rFactor 2 η ISI λεει οτι τα mods θα ειναι "ελεγχομενα" ως προς την λειτουργικοτητα τους πλεον.

 

Στη παρακατω συνέντευξη ο Gjon Camaj της ISI, δημιουργων του rFactor, μιλαει σχετικα για αυτο το θεμα οπως και για πολλα αλλα καινουργια χαρακτηριστικα που θα εχει το rFactor 2.

rFactor 2 – User Interface Screenshots

 

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated’s Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode.

 

ISI’s head-honcho did not come empty-handed though as Camaj showed off rFactor 2’s user interface for the very first time.

 

Below are six screenshots of the interface, showing off what looks like a major improvement over rFactor’s much criticised UI-system.Taking a closer look, the screenshots reveal some very interesting details as the task bar gives away the version number used by Camaj for the presentation – 0.783.

 

Also, we´re starting to get an idea on the title’s stock content as the fictional Formula ISI car can be seen, the series-selection screen also offers Historic Formula One & Formula Two, GT Endurance & Hillclimb series.

 

Furthermore, Camaj confirmed that ISI is still aiming for a 2010 release of their much-anticipated simulation, more on rFactor 2 will be coming up in the next episode of SRT.

rFactor 2 – New Screenshot Reveals WSbR Car

 

Image Space Incorporated has released a new preview screenshot of their upcoming rFactor 2 simulation, revealing a new addition to the title’s stock content.

 

The shot shows a World Series by Renault open wheel race car including a real-life livery, adding the French open-wheel series to the growing list of real-life racing content in rFactor 2.

 

The World Series by Renault uses a Dallara-built chassis powered by a 3.5 liter Nissan V6 engine putting out 425hp, making the series a popular development step for young drivers on their way into Formula One.

 

Other content in rFactor 2 includes the 1967 version of Spa Francorchamps, historical Formula 1 & 2 cars, the Renault Megane Trophy car and others. rFactor 2 will introduce various improvements to the modding-friendly simulation including weather, driver animations and a refined graphics engine. ISI has not announced a definite release date yet, the company is still aiming to release their newest title by the end of 2010 though.

rFactor 2 – World Series By Renault Confirmed

 

Back in May, a new screenshot of rFactor 2 was released, showing the Formula Renault 3.5 car of KMP Racing in the upcoming simulation.

 

Now, the Russian team has announced to be involved with helping rFactor 2’s development, showing us another high-resolution screenshot of their car in rFactor 2.

 

According to the team, rFactor 2 will feature the full 2010 season of the Formula Renault 3.5 series as part of the Renault World Series. Alongside the powerful open-wheeler, we´ve already seen other Renault racing cars in rFactor 2 including the Megane Trophy Car and the Renault Clio.

 

rFactor 2 will introduce various improvements to the modding-friendly simulation including weather, driver animations and a refined graphics engine. ISI has not announced a definite release date yet, the company is still aiming to release their newest title by the end of 2010 though.

Video shows the tire wear and flatspotting in action, the tire wear has been increased by 100x to show off the effect of a 100 lap run in one single lap.

Also visible are the tire temperature readouts at the top left of the video.
