Μετά από πάμπολες προσπάθειες και δοκιμές τελικά κατάφερα να ενεργοποιήσω την κάρτα. Αλλά το πρόβλημα παραμένει καθώς μέσω wicd βρίσκει δίκτυα και όταν πατάω connect κολλάει στο "Validating Authentication" μέχρι να πατήσω cancel. ;Όταν τώρα βγάζω το WPA και το δίκτυο είναι unsecured κολλάει στο "Obtaining IP". chr1s Δημοσ. 3 Μαρτίου 2009 Share Δημοσ. 3 Μαρτίου 2009 Μια ενδεχόμενη λύση είναι να αλλάξεις από το WLAN του router σου το channel.Αν είναι 1 δοκίμασε να βάλεις 6 η 11......κάνε και restart το Λαπι-τοπ και δοκίμασε να συνδεθείς. Διαφορετικά άλλαξε και το channel στην wlan0. Να δοκιμάσω και τα ενδιάμεσα ή δεν εχει νόημα?? Α και αυτό που όταν δε βάζω ασφάλεια δεν κολάει στο "Validating authentication" αλλά στο "Obtaining IP", τι λέει?? Τι άλλο να δοκιμάσω?? Αν καποιο απο αυτα τα 3 ασυρματα δικτυα που βρισκει ειναι το δικο σου, που μαλλον ειναι το "Homenet_Orion" γιατι εχεις καλυτερη ληψη απο αυτο, δοκιμασε να βαλεις (προσθεσεις) τα παρακατω στο /etc/network/interfaces >iface wlan0 inet dhcp wireless-key xxxxxxxxxxxxx #(το wep key αν εχει) wireless-essid Homenet_Orion και μετα κλασσικα επανεκκινηση του δικτυου για να δεις αν πιανει. >sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart Συνδέστε για να σχολιάσετε Κοινοποίηση σε άλλες σελίδες άλλες επιλογές

Επίσης post το wicd.log σε debug mode ώστε να δούμε σε ποιό από τα βήματα κολλάει τελικά. Άμα του βάλεις καρφωτή IP παίρνει δίκτυο κανονικά? Έχω δοκιμάσει όλα τα wpa supplicant που έχει, και σε μερικά κολλάει στο validating και σε άλλα στην αρχή που λέει "putting interface down" Το wicd.log σε debug mode πως θα το βρω ακριβώς?? :rolleyes: Άμα του βάλεις καρφωτή IP παίρνει δίκτυο κανονικά? Όσο για το debug mode, από τα preferences έχει επιλογή για Enable debug mode. DNS του βάζεις ανάλογα τον πάροχο που έχεις. Μπορείς να το δεις από τη σελίδα του router, συνήθως στο status. Γιατί μπαίνω στο ndiswrapper αλλά δεν βλέπω προκοπή... Επειδή γενικά τα χω μπλέξει λίγο με τους drivers , πώς μπορώ να τους βγάλω όλους καιν να ξαναξεκινησω από την αρχή?? vagpap Δημοσ. 3 Μαρτίου 2009 Share Δημοσ. 3 Μαρτίου 2009 Δεν έχω ασχοληθεί περαιτέρω με το wpa_supplicant.conf, μιας και η δικιά μου κάρτα δεν υποστηρίζει WPA, και με ndiswrapper δουλεύει μια χαρά το wep. Στο >ndiswrapper --help θα βρεις τις επιλογές για να βγάλεις έναν configured driver μέσω του ndiswrapper. Με madwifi δεν έχω ασχοληθεί, αλλά με ψάξιμο μάλλον θα βρεις άκρη. Φαντάζομαι πάντως ότι θα έχει να κάνει με τα modules που κάνεις modprobe. Δες ποιά modules δουλεύουν από αυτά που έβαλες εσύ και έχουν να κάνουν με το wifi και κάντα blacklist.
