USB to serial HL-340

Γεια σας,

Εχω ενα eee-pc και τρεχει το Xandros της μανας του (μετα απο καποια ρεστορ). Εχω και ενα USB to Serial adapter το οποιο προσπαθω να συνδεσω στο εεε για να μπορεσω να συνδεσω ενα GPS σειριακο. Προφανος εχω προβλημα Driver γιατι οταν κανω lsusb και dmesg βλεπω αλαγες οταν συνδεω - ξεσυνδεω.

Επισεις χριαζομε βοηθια για να εγκαταστησω το gpsd και gpsdrive αλλα αυτο μετα.

Καμια ιδεα?

Δώσε μας την έξοδο του lsusb με τον αντάπτορα συνδεδεμένο στην usb.

 

Δοκίμασε σαν root την εντολή modprobe ch341.

Αυτο περνω απτο lsusb.

Οταν κανω sudo modprobe ch341 βγαζει FATAL: MODULE ch341 NOT FOUND

Για δώσε την εντολή uname -r.

Το uname -r βγαζει 2.6.21.4-eeepc

Έχεις παλιό kernel, γι' αυτό μάλλον δεν υπάρχει ο κατάλληλος οδηγός. Ή η διανομή που έχεις δεν τον έχει κάνει compile στον kernel που χρησιμοποιεί. Μπορείς να τον βρεις όμως και να τον κάνεις compile μόνος σου. Ψάξε για ch341.c στο google.

Ευχαριστω για τη βοηθεια. Εψαχνα να βρω τι κερνελ εχω αλλα...

οι γνωσεις μου δεν φτανουν μεχρι εκει!!!

 

Μαλλον θα χρειαστω βοηθεια βημα βημα... γιατι στο γοογλε βρικα αρκετα patches αλλα δεν ξερω τι να κανω απο κει και περα..

 

Οποτε αν υπαρχει ορεξη....

430 This driver is for the Winchiphead CH341 USB-RS232 Converter. This chip

431 also implements an IEEE 1284 parallel port, I2C and SPI, but that is not

432 supported by the driver. The protocol was analyzed from the behaviour

433 of the Windows driver, no datasheet is available at present.

441 If your device is not one of the above listed devices, compatible with

442 the above models, you can try out the "generic" interface. This

443 interface does not provide any type of control messages sent to the

444 device, and does not support any kind of device flow control. All that

445 is required of your device is that it has at least one bulk in endpoint,

446 or one bulk out endpoint.

448 To enable the generic driver to recognize your device, build the driver

449 as a module and load it by the following invocation:
