Πως γίνεται αλλαγή firmware σε ASUS 1814BLT

Παιδιά αποφάσισα να περάσω καινούργιο firmware στο DVD ASUS 1814BLT που έχω, γιατί δεν γράφει καλά τα dvd και δεν τα καταφέρνω.

Τρέχω το αρχείο που περιλαμβάνει 18XP_114_1129.EXE και μου εμφανίζει το εξης μύνημα.

Get Drive Modelname error

Γνωρίζει κανείς κάτι να βοηθήσει.

If your motherboard bios has an option to run your sata in IDE mode, set it in IDE mode, reboot and then the flash will work. I just updated from 1.04 to 1.13

I had the same problem but I finally update the firmware from 1.04 to 1.13!

I have installed Daemon Tools (program that creates a virtual drive unit), so I set the number of virtual disk drives to 0 (disable), reboot the computer.

Then I close all applications running (antivirus, firewall, daemon tools, everything). And It worked!!

Solution:

 

The Driveletter of my Asus was "Z:"

 

I´ve changed it to the first possible Letter after my HD´s (F: ).

Then the Update was working.

 

So it´s definetly a bug in the flasher.
