Το μόνο που μπορείς να δοκιμάσεις είναι να πας στο support της creative και να κατεβάσεις τους οδηγούς κλειστού κώδικα και να δοκιμάσεις να τους εγκαταστήσεις.

Intended to be closed sourced beta, the decision resulted in a huge backlash from the community[12], as the drivers would only work for Linux systems built to use the older Slab allocation method and fails to load if the kernel is a SLUB kernel, and only worked if the kernel is of x86-64 architecture. It is thought that Creative have finally gave in to the community as the ALSA developers have reported as of August 2008 that they have received documentation of the card as well as sample hardware from Creative and that work to support the hardware has started [13]. Also, There are open sourced drivers for the X-FI from [4front OSS], available for all major unices.

Τι να πω... μετά από 2 ολόκληρα χρόνια .... η creative είναι για πολλές σφαλιάρες για άλλη μια φορά. . Ορισμένοι έχουν αναφέρει ότι έχουν καταφέρει να το κανουν να δουλέψει με τους ανοικτούς οδηγούς (το λινκ είναι στο Suse forums link)..
