Multiwinia -- Τα μπαρμπαδέλια ξαναχτυπούν!!!

Δεν είχα ιδέα ούτε για Multiwinia ούτε για Darwinia, έως ότου είδα τυχαία το trailer του Mutliwinia σήμερα στο GT:

Απλώς ΕΠΑΘΑ ΠΛΑΚΑ! Επίστευτο! Μιλάμε είναι ΤΟΣΟ ΑΠΛΟ, άλλα και ΤΟΣΟ ΩΡΑΙΟ!

Λίγο που είδα, πρόκειται για τους ίδιους προγραμματιστές που δημιούργησαν το (πρόσφατο) Defcon και το (παλιότερο) Uplink. Τα παιχνίδια τους σίγουρα δεν έχουν DirectX 25 γραφικά και EAX 34 ήχο, άλλα είναι έξυπνα και εθιστικά. Μια φορά, εγώ είμαι "hyped" για το Multiwinia .

 

Επίσης, στις επόμενες 6 εβδομάδες (οπότε υποθέτω είναι και το επίσημο release) θα ανεβάζουν βίντεο και εικόνες από το Multiwinia οπότε... stay tuned.

 

Η ιστορία είναι η εξής:

 

“Long ago a computer scientist called Dr Sepulveda created a beautiful digital world existing entirely within a computer network of his own invention. This world was called Darwinia and it was inhabited by a peaceful, law-abiding digital life-form called the Darwinians.

 

As the years wore on however the Darwinians became ever more aggressive and autonomous. They divided into factions, squabbling over Darwinia’s limited natural resources. Tribes began to roam the fractal voids hell bent on each other’s destruction, drunk on power and unswerving in the pursuit of world supremacy.

 

Far and wide, they became known as the Multiwinians….”
