Και εγω κοιταξα για τη συγκεκριμενη καρτα και βρηκα στο overclockers club ενα review που ειχε ως τελικα συμπερασματα τα εξης:

The Abit IX38 Quad GT have given us some mixed reactions. On one hand, it performs as expected using default settings, but in some of our tests the results were less than impressive. However, one of its strong points seems to be the overclocking department. I managed to overclock our Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (B3 stepping) to 3.6Ghz straight off, by the simply increasing the CPU frequency to 400Mhz with some minor voltage adjustments ... not bad at all.

Another plus point includes the fact that the Abit IX38 Quad GT uses DDR2 ram. This is perfect for users who's already using DDR2 ram, but wishing to upgrade their motherboard with the latest chipset. By doing so, you'll enjoy 45nm processor support, 1600FSB and PCIe v2.0 for the latest graphics cards.

Overall, the Abit IX38 Quad GT offers decent performance for the price. At default settings, it may not be the best on the list, but when you use it overclock ... then it really comes alive. Enthusiasts and overclockers will find this board very appealing. It features Abit's uGuru overclocking BIOS, a digital PWM for voltage stability, external clear CMOS switch as well as internal reset and power-on switches. Basically things that you won't find on mainstream boards.

The package is nicely presented, but lacks the extras you'll find on brands like Asus or MSI. No onboard wireless LAN, Skype feature, chipset waterblock or crossfire ribbon cables. Still, it contains all the necessay manuals, data cables and drivers on CD to get you going.

Pricewise, Abit IX38 Quad GT offers excellent value for money. Costing around £145.00, it's one of the cheapest X38 based motherboards available. It's perfect if you already have DDR2 ram.

Final words: Overall, the Abit IX38 Quad GT offers good performance using Intel's X38 chipset. But it's the overclocking ability that makes this board shine. Overclockers will be pleased to see it perform extremely well in this department."
