Μετατροπή MKV σε AVI με VirtualDubMod ;

Καλημέρα. Προσπαθώ να μετατρέψω αρχεία .mkv σε .avi με το VirtualDubMod έτσι ώστε να μπορώ να τα βλέπω στο επιτραπέζιο dvd player μου. Κάθε φορά όμως μου βγάζει το παρακάτω σφάλμα..Ξέρει κανείς τι μπορεί να συμβαίνει; Μπορείτε να με βοηθήσετε; Κάποιες οδηγίες ???

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to

decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media

Player, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this

video.

Είναι γιατί δεν έχεις εγκατεστημένους κάποιους Direct Show codecs όπως το ffdshow. Δοκίμασε K-LITE ή VISTA CODECS PACK (για XP ή VISTA ανάλογα) από Free Codecs

Απέφυγε το VirtualDubMod γι' αυτήν τη δουλειά. Ο κώδικας που περιλαμβάνει για υποστήριξη του MKV format είναι πλέον πολύ παλαιός.

 

Χρησιμοποίησε κάποιο πιο πρόσφατο software μετατροπής video, όπως MediaCoder, SUPER κλπ. Εναλλακτικά, αν θες σώνει και καλά VDubMod: Μπορείς να το κάνεις μέσω AviSynth scripting...

Δεν υπάρχει κάτι που σε περιορίζει στην ανάλυση. Γενικά όμως να μην υπερβείς τα 720 στο οριζόντιο που είναι και η ανάλυση του dvd. Το κατακόρυφο θα υπολογιστή σε αναλογία με αυτό. Μπορείς να τις ιδιότητες σε κάποιο avi να δεις τι μέγεθος είναι. Αυτό που πρέπει να προσέξεις είναι το bitrate. Μην πέσεις χαμηλότερα από 700 και είναι άχρηστο να υπερβείς τα 1500kbps. Κάπου κοντά στα 1000-1200 είναι καλά (2 pass πάντα).

Μπορείς και να το κάνεις κατευθείαν DVD (π.χ. Film Machine, guide από cybereddie) και να μην σε απασχολούν τέτοια θέματα.

Αν δεν παρεμβληθεί κάποιο φίλτρο (VirtualDub/Avisynth) που να κάνει resize, τότε η ανάλυση θα παραμείνει ίδια με του video εισόδου. Η οποία 720p ανάλυση παρεμπιπτόντως, είναι πέραν των δυνατοτήτων της συντριπτικής πλειοψηφίας των MPEG-4 συμβατών standalone players...

Σχετικά με τον τύπο .mkv δεν ξέρω ποιος είναι αυτός που το επινόησε αλλά είδα ότι

είναι συντομογραφία της ρώσικης λέξης

'matrioska' - σετ από διαφορετικού μεγέθους κούκλες που συμβολίζουν την αναπαραγωγή...

Δεν νομίζω. Στην πραγματικότητα είναι matroska η συντομογραφία, ενώ οι κούκλες λέγονται matrioska, matrioshka, matryoshka, babushka doll, stacking doll.

Μπορώ να πω όμως ότι υπάρχει ακουστική ομοιότητα.

Matrioshka είναι και μια κουφή θεωρία (πηγή wikipedia)
