EA fills us in on the latest installment in its seminal racing franchise.

 

EA is once again returning to the track this year with Need for Speed Undercover. Shipping this November, the game boasts some very impressive cinematic work and is both a departure and return to form for the franchise. To find out what it's all about, we fired off a number of questions to Bill Harrison, executive producer on the game. Here's what he had to tell us...

NFS Undercover Cops and Robbers online mode announced

 

EA studio Black Box has given word that Need for Speed Undercover has an online multiplayer mode entitled Cops and Robbers.

 

Itʼs four against four with one team on the run whilst the other gives chase. Sounds like it could be good. Well, Block Box seems to think so, anyway:

 

“High-intensity police chases are a signature component of Undercover and this extends to the multiplayer experience as well,” said Bill Harrison, Executive Producer at Black Box. “The cops and robbers mode will thrust players into adrenaline-pumping battles as they utilize the Heroic Driving Engine to deliver or prevent the delivery of the package to the safe house.”
