I've been to your country a few times (south) and i have to admit that i didn't find what i've expected.

From the moment we've set foot in Bulgaria we had to face the taxi driver mob... horrible driving skills.. and a lot of junkies and criminals...

This thing started to change as we headed north but the "welcome" those 3-4 times, was enough to decide not to come up there again... I hope that this will change eventually...

When i go to a country and the police is "supporting" the local criminals... i do find it hard to return there... I know that sofia is quite civilized but you guys should really do something abou the "border" towns which make the first impression to the "x" visitor/tourist...

PS. By the way I'm just studying about the accession of Greece to the EU in 1981. I'm a student in European Studies.

Dragger, I think you'll find that other sections are really pretty specific and tech related. So (though I know you'll find this hard to believe) this general BS discussion forum is probably your best chance at actually getting much communication from here...

 

You will need to start asking specific questions to get any semi-worthwhile answers though. Also, due to the large amount of slang and off-topic stupidity (especially in this section) google translator will be a nightmare and it's very doubtful you'll get much out of it.
