You always wanted to pay a visit to the World of Nyn but couldn’t scrape together the fare for the trip? Then you should now start packing your bags because BattleForge is now a Play4Free title!

 

The BattleForge Play4Free Client, which you can download here, offers you complete access to all areas and functionality of the game, including all content updates (new PvP maps, Renegade Campaign) made available since release.

 

Along with all functionality of the game, BattleForge Play4Free includes two decks consisting of 32 cards. You can play any scenario in the game, including the Renegade Campaign. With BattleForge Play4Free, you are also able to purchase Booster Pack and bid on cards in the Auction House.

 

However, you can only offer a card in the Auction House once you have reached level 4 in PvE and level 10 in PvP. Direct trades and sending in-game mail with attachments are also blocked until you reach this experience level.

 

You tried out BattleForge with the demo? Then it’s definitely worth your while to switch over to Play4Free. In the demo version, you could only play a small number of the maps and scenarios available, and you couldn’t trade or buy cards in the auction house. Those restrictions have been removed!

Τόσο άσχημα πήγαν οι πωλήσεις;

Ναι οι πωλήσεις δεν ήταν πολύ καλές, βλέπεις το παιχνίδι απευθύνεται σε "ειδικό" κοινό (cards+rts). Αλλά πέρα από αυτό βλέπω πως σκοπεύουν να τα πάρουν με πιο έξυπνο τρόπο.

• No. BattleForge Play4Free includes all game content, but it does not include any BattleForge Points. The points you can get either by trading with other players, or you can purchase them from BattleForge.com or the EA Store.

Με μόνο 32 κάρτες (και μάλιστα 8 κάρτες από κάθε δύναμη) δεν νομίζω να μπορείς να παίξεις κανένα σοβαρό παιχνίδι...

BattleForge to Expand Card Set With Renegade Edition

 

The Renegade Edition expands the BattleForge card set with legendary units and monumental buildings from the Southern Wastes region of Nyn. The legends about the Bandits and Stonekin that you have clashed with on your crusade through the Southern Wastes now are being whispered among the mortals and the Skylords can summon them with the Forge. 60 new units and buildings will be added to the BattleForge card pool. Dual orb cards and special affinities will become available that will deepen and enrich the strategical possibilities of the decks and the combat itself.

 

Bandits: Ragged gangs of bandits roam the wastelands with a lust for plunder. Bandits are remarkably versatile, with troops ranging from fast moving infantry units up to heavy artillery. If kept in line, these bandit forces will prove to be even fiercer than the Twilight.

 

Stonekin: Searching for their giant master's treasure, the Stonekin elementals now have a strong presence in the wastelands. They are massive, heavily armored brutes and even while they lack fast moving units, each single one of them packs enough punch to take out a small army.

 

Dual Orb: The main specialty of the Renegades is versatility and independence which reflects in their dual orb nature. They are not governed by one power alone but are able to tap into a second power to unlock additional special abilities or be generally more flexible in the way they fit into your deck. Bandits will use the wild fire and the vicious shadow as sources of their power, while Stonekin are attuned with the might of Frost and Nature. These cards can not only fit well into a dual colored deck, but their special abilities might unlock the prime advantages of each of the two powers for them, allowing for new tactics and deck variations.

 

BattleForge: The Renegade Edition is expected to become available in Aug. 2009.

Ξεκίνησα σήμερα το battleforge, δεν το έχω αγοράσει, αλλα θέλω να το δω αν αξίζει. Επιπλέον θα ήθελα να μου πει κάποιος που παίζει αν μπορείς να επιβιώσεις σε αυτό το game χωρίς να χαλάς πολλά λεφτά γκία boosters.Οποιος παίζει και θέλει να με help να παίξουμε κάνα game μαζί να μου πει μερικά πράματα ας μου κάνει pm.

Μπορείς να επιβιώσεις, σίγουρα κάποιες κάρτες είναι πολύ δυνατές και βοηθάνε αλλά το παιχνίδι είναι κατά μεγάλο ποσοστό θέμα τακτικής. Εγώ παίζω χαλαρά αυτό τον καιρό περιμένοντας τη νέα σειρά που φαίνεται ενδιαφέρουσα και με αρκετά νέα στοιχεία

BattleForge - DirectX 11 Patch

 

Hi,

 

we're going to deploy a patch today that will introduce the following features:

 

General

 

* DirectX 11 support enabled.

* Added /roll [n] chat command to generate random value in group chat. [n] is optional and defines the max. random value. Default is 100.

* Placing Buildings: When holding ctrl+mousewheel, it is now possible to correctly rotate a building before placement.

 

Cards

 

* Bug fix: Cards able to deal more damage against frozen units did not work correctly any more since the last patch. They either did not deal the expected amount of damage or did not correctly buff other entities to deal more damage against frozen units. This has now been fixed. The following affected cards will now be functional again as indicated in their descriptions: Rageflame (Frost Affinity), Core Dredge (Both Affinites), Deepgorge (Fire Affinity), Northstar (Both Affinities).

* Bug fix: Cards in stand ground-mode do not get knocked down from walls by cards like “hurricane” anymore (the "burrower" is still stable able to do so)

* Bug fix: Crystal Fiend: On some upgrade levels this unit casted it’s heal aura incorrectly on the same target multiple times. This has been corrected.

* Bug fix: Amazon: The Amazon now gets regular damage from god spells (due to a bug this unit only received 75%)

* Bloodhorn: Added missing sounds on death, when dying, the unit is not breathing anymore

 

Bug Fixes

 

* Fixed issue where the card tooltip in the forge was displayed behind the chat window.

Turrets are no longer returning too fast into their neutral position if the attacked target dies during attack

* Fixed a bug where the unity ability caused desynchronization errors.

* On the map Soultree, Viridya did in some case not freeze the main enemy wave. This was corrected.

 

 

The servers will go down at 14:30 CET (in roughly 1 hour) and the downtime is to be expected around 90 minutes.

BattleForge Now Featuring DirectX 11

 

Electronic Arts has announced that the real-time strategy BattleForge, is the first title to use DirectX 11 and AMD’s ATI graphic processor chipset. BattleForge is EA's first "Play4Free", and features single-player missions, co-op for 2-12 players, and PvP.

μου ειπε 1 φιλος να ριξω την αναλυση και τις details για να στρωσει

( παρολο που ετρεχε μια χαρια )

και εστρωσε..

αλλα παλι crashαρει και μου λεει κατι για τα graphics...

ξερει κανεις κατι?

ρε παιδια εψαχνα για κανενα παιχνιδακι στην ea και πατω δωρεαν game

και ειχε το battleforge το κατεβαζω 1,5gb καπου εκει με ολα μαζι

και μπαινω και παιζω κανονικα με account χωρις να δοσω μια

ειναι demo,δωρεαν,η θα μου ερθει πραμα στον επομενο λογαριασμο
