Πάντως το περιοδικό είναι από μια έκδοση του Μαλαισίας. Αν και δεν μπορεί να θεωρηθεί αρκετά εγκύρο πάντως σίγουρα θα δούμε το game στα pc νωρίς το 2009. Απλά με νύχια και με δόντια προσπαθούν να στρέψουν τους gamer προς τις κονσόλες με τέτοιες καθυστερήσεις.

PC Version of GTA IV Confirmed?

 

Original Article: PC Gamer magazine out of Malaysia has confirmed a PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV.

 

No further details at this point. There are doubts that the magazine is genuine. Even if it is not, the game is coming to the PC in the future. Thanks to Nick Underdown for the news.

 

 

Update by Adriaan: There's no doubt that this magazine cover is legit. A simple visit to the official website of the magazine shows the actual cover. I have contacted the editor, and I'm waiting for a reply. However, in this topic on the official forum of the magazine an editor of the magazine makes a comment after being questioned about the cover that makes me believe it is not in fact official news:

 

"Well, so far Rockstar just haven't released the actual date but they are going to release it... well.. if you've been following the GTA series, you should know how Rockstar is.. Haha."

 

 

Update by Jordan: I've received word from a contact at Rockstar Games on this matter. Chatting with the PR spokesperson, I "confirmed with Rockstar Games that they've made no announcements regarding Grand Theft Auto IV on PC."

GTA IV for PC Briefly — Briefly — Listed on ESRB

 

 

Whoops! Well, just as soon as it was discovered, it came back down. But Grand Theft Auto IV briefly had a listing on the ESRB web site that showed Windows PC as a platform. The screenshot, gathered by Game-on-Game is above. If you go there now, it's back to Xbox 360 and PS3 only. So who knows what the hell is going on. Erroneous? Premature? I'm going with the latter. This simply has to come out on PC, and Rockstar hasn't definitively put the kibosh on any speculation yet.

Grand Theft Auto 4 PC Announced, Due November 21

Gets expanded multiplayer.

 

Developer Rockstar Games has just announced the PC version of its open-world title Grand Theft Auto IV, due out in North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 21.

 

As far as we can tell from the official press release, the game will be exactly the same as the console versions but with "newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC". Whether that's just a few new modes or something else entirely, we'll have to wait and see.

 

"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Rockstar founder Sam House. "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."
