BioShock 2 review is in

PC Gamer and PSM3 rate 2K's massive sequel

 

The first BioShock 2 reviews have arrived, via both PSM3 and PC Gamer magazines... and it's good news.

 

PSM3 awarded the follow-up 93%, saying it "Tops the original in terms of storytelling and combat."

 

PC Gamer meanwhile went with a lower but still impressive score of 90%, concluding that "the mechanics that made the original BioShock such fun return, better than before," and "it's still better written than pretty much anything else out there."

Μάλον γιατί έχουν περάσει 2+ χρόνια απ'το πρώτο κ τα "παλιά" χρόνια τα παιχνίδια διαρκούσαν περισότερο.

"Aggressive plans" for BioShock 2 DLC

2K Marin confirms DLC is now in development

 

Bioshock 2 developer 2K Marin has confirmed that downloadable content is currently being worked on and that the developer has some "aggressive plans" for it.

 

Senior systems designer, Kent Hudson, wouldn't give much away about what we can expect from BioShock 2 DLC but he did tell Australian Gamer, "We are working on pretty aggressive plans for DLC and that's actually something that is already under-way.

 

"That is something that is mostly being run out of the Marin studio because like I said the Australian studio is already ramping up on the next big thing."

Και το πρώτο ήταν πολύ μεγαλύτερο από 10 ώρες....

Μην το λες, την τριτη φορα που το επαιξα χαλαρα το τερματισα σε λιγοτερο απο 8 ωρες. Βεβαια την πρωτη φορα μου πηρε κανενα 20ωρο (ρουφαω ατμοσφαιρα γαρ). Ελπιζω το δευτερο να μην ειναι 10 ωρες για τον "ασχετο".

Οι ώρες gameplay είναι κάτι σχετικό. Γιατί μπορεί ο developer να λέει ότι έχει 200+ ώρες gameplay αλλά να συμπεριλαμβάνει τη λύση όλων των side quests, της main plot, την εξερεύνηση όοοολων των περιοχών και δεν ξέρω 'γω τι άλλο. Μου θυμίζει λίγο την ιστορία με το Fallout 3 αν δεν κάνω λάθος που οι δημιουργοί του έλεγαν ότι θα 'χει 200 τερματισμούς! Και τελικά είχε 4, απλά υπήρχαν 200 σημεία όπου ο χρήστης αποφάσιζε κάτι που θα οδηγούσε στο φινάλε. Πφφφφ!

BioShock 2 System Requirements Revealed

Steam has posted the PC system requirements for BioShock 2, giving gamers about a few weeks to upgrade their machines if need be.

 

One thing to note, however, is that the game will use SecuROM and have a 15 machine activation limit. Does yours make the cut?

μια χαρά οι απαιτήσεις του...το πρώτο είχε πολύ όμορφα γραφικά,ωραία ατμόσφαιρα και ελαφρύ..δείγμα του ότι ήταν καλογραμμένο

45 ευρω στο steam προαγορα...

Πολυ ελαφρυ φενεται απο τα requirements.Αί μου φενεται παλι το Crysis θα με βαλει στο πριζακι για upgrade.
