Καλησπερα παιδια,

 

πρωτη φορα που ασχολουμαι με το virtualbox και περασα xp για να δω πως λειτουργει μια VM.

 

Δεν αναγνωριζει τη συσκευη ηχου καθολου. Επειδη εχω laptop dell vostro 1500 πηγα στη dell και κατεβασα τον sigmatel driver. Κανω εγκατασταση τελειωνει κανω μονος μου επανεκκινηση και μετα ξαναρχιζει παλι μια εγκατασταση της sigmatel αλλα μου βγαζει αυτη τη φορα οτι δεν υποστηριζεται το υλικο μου ή κατι τετοιο.

 

Το αποτελεσμα ειναι να μην εχω καθολου ηχο. Τι μπορω να κανω? Σε θεμα VM ειμαι εντελως noob

Η συσκευή ήχου που εξομοιώνει το VirtualBox δεν έχει καμμία σχέση με το hardware του host συστήματος. Αντιθέτως, μπορείς να διαλέξεις να εξομοιωθεί ένας από δύο δυνατούς Audio Controllers: ICH AC97 ή Soundblaster 16. Άρα, στο guest λειτουργικό σύστημα εγκαθιστάς οδηγούς για ICH AC97 ή Soundblaster 16 και όχι για Sigmatel κλπ...

Στην περίπτωση του Soundblaster16, δεν μου βγάζει καν εικονίδιο για τον ήχο στα windows (quest)

Οι υπόλοιπες εφαρμογές που τρέχεις στο host OS έχουν ήχο κανονικά; Αν ναι, ποιο sound subsystem χρησιμοποιούν (OSS, ALSA ή PulseAudio) ;

 

 

Στην περίπτωση του Soundblaster16, δεν μου βγάζει καν εικονίδιο για τον ήχο στα windows (quest)

 

Νομίζω πως όταν εξομοιώνεται το ICH chip της Intel, οι αντίστοιχοι drivers εγκαθίστανται αυτόματα (σε Windows XP και νεότερο guest OS τουλάχιστον). Για την εικονική SB16, ίσως πρέπει να εγκαταστήσεις χειροκίνητα τον κατάλληλο sound driver στο guest OS.

Αφού τρέχεις το VBox σε Linux host, δεν πρόκειται να δεις τέτοια επιλογή στις ρυθμίσεις του VBox. Εκεί που σε εσένα εμφανίζει τις επιλογές που ανέφερες πιο πάνω:

με τις 4 επιλογές που μου βγάζει (Null, Oss, Alsa,Pulse)

σε Windows host εμφανίζει αντίστοιχα "Null" και "Windows DirectSound".

σε ubuntu 8.10 παντως δεν εχω παλι προβληματα με ηχο

Πως μπορώ να μεταφέρω αρχεία μεταξύ host (Vista) και guest (XP) OS και το αντίστροφο;

Σημ.: στο VirtualPC 2007 λειτουργεί με drag & drop (έτσι απλά).

Με προβλημάτισες και το έψαξα λίγο και η αλήθεια είναι ότι κάτι πρέπει να τρέχει με τον ήχο στο σύστημα μου..

Ήχο έχω ανα περιπτωση απ'ότι κατάλαβα..Πχ τώρα firefox(youtube) και skype δεν έχουν ήχο αλλά έχει o amarok kai o kopete..Το dragon player μου φαίνεται ότι όποτε θυμηθεί παίζει ήχο, ενώ το kaffeine τπτ..

Η αλήθεια είναι πάντος ότι το Κmix από το installation μου βγάζει που και που κάποια errors, crashes klp..

 

Πως μπορώ να μάθω ποιο soundsystem χρησιμοποιούν; Έψαξα λίγο στα sound settings του συστήματος (Εδω είναι ένα print screen. δεν ξέρω αν βοηθάει) και στα settings των apps αλλά δεν βρίσκω κάτι σχετικό..

 

Τώρα που συνηδειτοποίησα ότι είναι γενικό το προβλημα μου έχουν σπάσει τα νευρα καθώς δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω από τι εξαρτάται το αν θα έχω ήχο κάπου ή οχι..

Μιας και δεν φαίνεται να είναι πρόβλημα του VirtualBox αλλά ρύθμισης ήχου στη διανομή σου (ή μήπως είναι γενικότερο του KDE; ), δεν κάνεις μία σχετική ερώτηση και στο Linux section;

έχω εγκαταστήσει επιτυχώς το πρόγραμμα και τρέχω WINxp.Το πρ'οβλημα μου είναι ότι δεν βλέπει το usb to serial converter που έχω. έχει κανείς καμιά ιδέα?
