Δεν δοκιμάζεις και το envy?

δοκiμασα εγκατάσταση με το envy εκανα restart αλλά μου πεταει και εμένα το no composite extension available οταν παω να ενεργοποιήσω τα εφέ. Επίσης σε καποια σημεία τη οθόνης εμφανιζε corrupt. Εχει κανεις καμια ιδέα τι μπορεί να συμβαίνει?

Η καρτα είναι μαι mobility radeon x700

Το δοκίμασα και μου το γύρισε σε low graphics mode με τον vesa driver. Στο fglrxinfo μου έβγαζε τα ίδια. Για τις γραματοσειρές δεν έχω εντοπίσει κάποιο πρόβλημα χωρίς όμως να το 'χω ψάξει και πολύ

Τελικά βρήκα λύση μεσα απο τα φορουμ του Ubuntu προς το παρον δουλευει ευχαριστω για την ανταποκριση

Παιδια, επειδη τα εκανα λιγο σαλατα ( ) με την εγκατασταση του νεου driver, αν επανεγκαταστήσω την ubuntu, στην εγκατασταση θα κατεβασει μονο του το νεο driver ως restricted και θα ειμαι οκ ή δε ξερω τι λεω;

Mην κάνεις format.Για να διορθώσεις την κατάσταση αρχικά μπες σε recovery console(μια από τις επιλογέ του grub) και δώσε

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

εκεί στον wizard που θα εμφανιστεί πάτα παντού οκ και enter.Οταν τελειώσει δώσε

exit

και λογικά θα έχεις μπει στο λειτουργικό.Τώρα εγκατέστησε τους driver μέσω του προγράμματος διαχείρισης των driver κλειστού κώδικα.Πάντως αυτός ο τρόπος θα σου εγκαταστήσει μόνο τους παλιότερους driver μια και οι καινουργιοι δεν έχουν ανέβει ακόμα στα επίσημα απόθετήρια.Για να εγκαταστήσεις του πιο πρόσφατους θα πρέπει να το κάνεις μόνος σου.Για μένα ο καλήτερος τρόπος είναι να ακολουθήσεις αυτόν εδώ τον οδηγό

και να δεις αν δεν πάει κάτι καλά τις λύσεις που προτείνει.Αν εχεις ακόμα προβλήματα γράψε εδώ μήπως βρούμε κάποια λύση.

παρεξήγησα τα γραφόμενα του οδηγού http://forlong.blogage.de/article/2007/10/23/fglrx-8423---finally-with-AIGLX-support

 

και αφαίρεσα το "fglrx" απο το devices.

 

 

Τωρα οποτε ξεκινω την ubuntu σβηνει η οθονη μου γιατι δεν υποστηρίζει αλλες αναλυσεις εκτος 640χ480 και 1360χ768

 

 

νομίζω ομως ότι περισσότερη ώρα θα μου φάει να το φτιάξω, παρα να το επανεγκαταστήσω.

 

 

 

Ευχαριστώ πάντως γιατί πάντα δείχνεις μια προθυμία να με βοηθήσεις, όσο σαλάτα και να τα έχω κάνει, αλλά και τα υπόλοιπα παιδιά για όση βοήθεια μου έχετε προσφέρει ως τώρα

 

 

 

υ.γ Το οτι oι μπαρες στα προγραμματα π.χ. εκει που γραφει firefox εχουν μικρα γραμματα απο οταν ενεργοποιησα τα εφφε, φτιαχνει με τους νεους drivers?

Δεν έχει σημασία τι έκανες.Μπορείς πολύ εύκολα να το διορθώσεις όπως σου είπα πιο πάνω.Και σίγουρα θα κάνεις πολύ λιγότερο χρόνο αλλά και κόπο από την επανεγκατάσταση.Και στο linux δεν υπάρχουν τόσο τραγικά προβλήματα που να χρειάζονται format.

δοκίμασα και με το envy, και με τα guides, αλλά όταν πάς να ενεργοποιήσω τα εφφέ πέρνω το μύνημα composite extension not available. καμιά ιδέα?

Μπες στα φορουμ του ubuntu http://ubuntuforums.org/ και κανε search με το μηνυμα θα βρεις καποιες προτασεις, τις οποιες αν επιλεξεις τις δοκιμαζεις με καθε επιφυλαξη. Στην περιπτωση μου δουλεψε το compiz αλλα δεν μπορουσα να τρεξω σοικα ουτε ενα βιντεο μαλλον λογω του driver της ati ή δικού μου λάθους

είχα κάνει το λάθος να κάνω remove to composite disable, αλλά να μην σώσω το αρχείο. τι να κάνοιυμε συμβαίνουν αυτά !
