- Kane's Wrath is all about Kane and the rise of NOD following the second Tiberium War, also taking the player through the third Tiberium War and beyond in the storyline.

- Campaign will feature high-def motion video's again.

- Kane will of course be back, along with a couple of new characters.

- New feature = Global Domination medigame, "Risk-like but on steroids".

- "Persistent units that travel across the entire world" = longer, more global campaign.

- New units, upgrades, powers and structures for each of the core factions.

- Each faction will also have two subfactions: these will also come with their own modified units, unique powers and upgrades. Each one will cater to a specific playstyle and they will really mix up online play.

- EA will be adding over two dozen new multiplayer maps.

- Also available on the Xbox 360, will be releasing simultaneously with the PC-version.

- 360 players will be receiving something very special: leaked screenshot featured one of their brand new innovations.

- Radio Interface: provides exponantionally more speed and power to the player when they're managing their build cues, allows them to manage their base from anywhere on the map, never have to go back, one of the key points on the PC that we're bringing over to the console.

- Really listening to the fans, reading on the forums, they want to implement as much of the community's ideas as possible.

EA has announced that Kane's Wrath, an upcoming add-on pack for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is due out on the Xbox 360 and PC in early 2008.

 

The announcement was made at EA's Battlecast Prime Time show where the producer, Jim Vasella, made a number of comments about the added features Kane's Wrath would bring Command and Conquer 3. One particularly noteworthy addition is a Risk-esque global domination meta-game: "One of the core features of this game is the global domination meta-game," said Vasella. "Imagine a game like Risk but on steroids, supporting the C&C fiction with Ion Cannons, nukes, Mammoth tanks as you move your armies around the entire world. When armies collide, you'll jump down into that fast and fluid C&C gameplay that you know and love." Other additions will include 24 new multiplayer maps, the versatile Radio interface for the Xbox 360 version and a host of new units.

As the expansion pack to the critically-acclaimed and fan favorite, Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars™, this Real-time Strategy (RTS) game returns to the Tiberium universe with Kane at the center of an epic new single player campaign.

The single player campaign will allow players to experience a new story that spans 20 years – from the rebirth of the Brotherhood of Nod after the Second Tiberium War through the dramatic events of the Third Tiberium War and beyond. The story is told through a new set of high-definition live action video sequences starring a celebrity cast. Joe Kucan, the original actor who portrayed the character Kane in Command & Conquer games over the last decade, will reprise his role as the megalomaniacal leader of the Brotherhood of Nod. Other details of the cast have yet to be announced.

 

 

 

Command & Conquer 3: Kaneʼs Wrath also features a new strategic layer to gameplay that allows players to establish bases, build customized armies, and attack their enemies on a global scale – and then dive into the frenzied tactical combat where their skills as a commander will make the difference in battle. The game also introduces six new sub-factions and a wealth of new units, structures, and powers to the armies of the Global Defense Initiative, the Brotherhood of Nod, and the enigmatic alien Scrin.

 

 

 

The Xbox 360™ version of Command & Conquer 3: Kaneʼs Wrath will debut a revolutionary new radial interface designed specifically for console gamers. Taking RTS controls to a whole new level, players will utilize the command stick to build, deploy, and attack.
