Tips για Vista...(μπορεiτε να τα κάνετε ταχύτερα απτα xp!)

δεν νομίζω τα vista να χρειάζονται κάποιο κολπάκι για να είναι πιο γρήγορα απο τα xp.

Ρε παιδιά γιατί ο mozilla μου τρώει 105ΜΒ(!!!!) μνήμης μόνο με μία σελίδα ανοικτή????Και όταν του ανοίγω 5 σελίδες παράδειγμα πάει στα 130ΜΒ????

Πρέπει να αλλάξω κάποια ρύθμιση??

Στα vista τα προγράμματα "απλώνονται" όσο έχεις μνήμη. Αν ζητηθεί από αλλού όμως την απελευθερώνουν, μην αγχώνεσαι. Και με 0 KB ελεύθερα παίζει να ανοίξεις Photoshop με 20 φωτογραφίες απροβλημάτιστα.

Παντως για οποιον θελει ναι μην απενεργοποιησει το System restore μπορει να κανει το εξης:

1.ανοιγμα γραμμης εντολων (command promt)

2.πληκτολογειτε vssadmin List ShadowStorage και βλεπεται ποσο καταλαμβανει το system restore στο δισκο (σκιωδη αντιγραφα)

3.πληκτολογειτε vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage και ακολουθοντας τα βηματα που θα σας εμφανησει μπορειτε να αλλαξετε τον χωρο που καταλαμβανουν τα σκιωδη αντιγραφα.

για παραδειγμα:

vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: MaxSize=10GB

Στο (/For=C: /On=C:) βαζετε οτι γραμμα αντιστοιχει στον δικο σας σκληρο και στο (MaxSize=10GB) βαζετε οτι μεγεθος θελετε εσεις.

Προσωπικα εχω βαλει 10GB για να εχω λιγο παλιοτερες ημερομηνιες.

Έχει ξαναναφερθεί δεν είναι αυτό το τιπ που θα σου δώσει την τρελή ώθηση αλλά ένα σωστά ρυθμισμένο σύστημα. Κάποια tips αλλά για εγκατάσταση από την αρχή εδώ.

Προσοχή, δεν δουλεύει σε Vista με Sp1.

Your computer running Windows isnʼt running in the same speed that it used to run when you first used it. Itʼs slower, crappy, takes a while to start and tests your patience like anything. There are many reasons for this, letʼs try fixing up a few things on your slow Windows PC: Slow Start Up

There can be a variety of reasons to Windows loading slow during start up. Go to Run, type msconfig and hit enter. Under the ʽStart Upʼ tab, uncheck the unwanted programs and press OK. Things should be a bit fine the next time Windows boots.

Another program worth mentioning here is StartUp Delayer which will help in setting after how much time programs should be loaded after Windows boots. For instance, you could set your instant messenger program to load 50 seconds after Windows starts up.

Slow Loading Start Menu

If the Start Menu items are loading slowly, you can open the Registry Editor by typing in the Run menu ʽregedit.exeʼ and pressing Enter. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Look for MenuShowDelay, and double click to edit the value. The lower the number specified, the faster the Start Menu will load.

Slow Right Click Context Menu

Probably the Windows Right Click menu on your computer is loading slow because too many programs added unwanted entries there. Just download this program called Mmm, install it and then modify your context menu to remove unwanted items to speed it up.

Slow Send To Menu

If the Send To menu loads slowly, you can type ʼsendtoʼ in the Run Dialog, and remove unwanted items in the Explorer Window that appears. This should add some speed to it.

Slow Defragmentation

The Windows Defragmenter canʼt get any slower. You need to have an alternative to the Windows Defragmenter, and Defraggler is just one of the best ones available in the market. Itʼs free, and works like a charm and can speed up defragmentation manifold. For some alternatives, see Five Free Programs to Defragment your PC.

Slow loading My Computer Window

If the My Computer Window loads slowly, in the Explorer Window, go to Tools >> Folder Options >> View and uncheck ʽAutomatically search for network folders and printers”

Slow loading Add or Remove Programs Applet

This is one of the most annoying piece of programs present in Windows, it takes ages to load if you have a considerable number of programs installed on your computer. You can either use the all-in-one CCleaner for this purpose, or get MyUninstaller that comes as a speedy replacement for Add or Remove Programs.

Slow Ending of Unresponsive Programs

If youʼve clicked on ʽEnd Taskʼ if any program is running unresponsive, you might have noticed that the program is not terminated immediately. You can alter this by going to Run >> regedit.exe >> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\ and change this value to 1000.

Disable Animations and Appearance Overhauls to maximize performance

If youʼre a serious performance junkie, you probably wonʼt bother about eyecandy. Go to System Properties in the Control Panel. Click ʽAdvancedʼ, then ʽPerformanceʼ and click ʽAdjust for best performanceʼ. This might boost your PCʼs performance up a bit.

Additional Tips:

- Always keep your computer clean. Remove Junk and Unnecessary registry entries. Use CCleaner for this purpose, one excellent tool that just does what it says.

- Donʼt keep installing software. Install a program only if it really serves you a purpose.

- Keep as less programs as possible running on the System Tray. This essentially means reducing the number of programs that start during Windows start up.

MZ Vista Force is a full-fledged tweaking machine! Itʼs broken down into Performance Tweaks, Windows Tweaks, Internet Optimizer, StartUp Manager, Services Manger, and Backup Restore. Use it to easily clean up junk files off your hard disk or speed up Internet browsing in Vista. You can also modify lots of esoteric settings like the speed at which the Start Menu displays and clearing out the page file at shutdown. Lots of options and a definite download! A Vista Tweaker from Stardock that packs a bunch of features into a small package. Disable unnecessary startup programs, update drivers that are out of date, get a benchmark of your computer performance, and lots more. The full version has some extra stuff for $20. Vista Logo Boot Generator is a free Windows Vista program that you can use to change the default boot screen in Windows to your own custom image. You can use an image of two sizes, either 800×600 or 1024×768, so youʼll have to scale any images you might want to use to that size first and they must be in .bmp format. So if you have a nice picture of your spouse or something else you wouldnʼt mind seeing at startup, use this to customize the boot screen! Vista Boot Pro is a cool freeware app that you can use to easily mange the boot configuration and settings in Windows Vista without having to manually edit the BCDEdit file. You can also use Vista Boot Pro to back up the existing boot configuration before making changes in case something goes wrong. Also useful for multi-boot systems where you want to set the default OS, etc. Whatʼs the most annoying thing about Windows Vista? Could your answer be UAC or User Account Control? Mine too! I hate it! Itʼs a pain! But itʼs also bad to turn it completely off. So what to do? Use TweakUAC, a nifty little tool you can use to Turn off UAC, Turn on UAC, or put it into Quiet mode. Quiet mode means Administrators are not bothered with prompts when doing admin tasks, but itʼs still remains on for programs, etc. Finally! Any other annoying Vista feature? How about those giant arrows on your desktop shortcuts? Do they really need to be THAT big? I mean come on! We know they are shortcuts. If you hate those little shortcut icons, you can get rid of them by using Vista Shortcut Overlay Remover! A free app that either lets your remove the shortcuts or make them smaller like they used to be in Windows XP. Ahhh thatʼs better! Any other Windows Vista utilities that you just canʼt live without? There are a couple of more that I like to use, but Iʼll leave that for another post! Hope you enjoyed these!

Δεν ξέρω αν αναφέρθηκε, αλλά μετά την εγκατάσταση του SP1 μπορείτε να σβήσετε τα περιττά αρχεία της εγκατάστασης και να ελευθερώσετε χώρο στο σκληρό.

-Βασικά, αυτή η εντολή αφαιρεί τα αρχεία του SP1 που τα Vista αποθηκεύουν σε περίπτωση που θέλει κάποιος να απεγκαταστήσει το SP1.

-Αν σκοπεύετε όμως να το κρατήσετε και όλα λειτουργούν καλά, αυτά τα αρχεία δε χρειάζονται.

 

 

Note:

- Αφού τρέξετε αυτή την εντολή, κάντε μια ανασυγκρότηση για καλύτερα αποτελέσματα

- ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: μετά από αυτή τη διαδικασία δεν υπάρχει δυνατότητα απεγκατάστασης του SP1

 

ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ:

- Click "Start"

- Click "Run/Start Search"

- Γράψτε "CMD" για να ξεκινήσει το Command Prompt

- Στο Command Prompt γράψτε "Vsp1cln.exe" [χωρίς τα εισαγωγικά]

- Πατήστε "Enter" για να ξεκινήσει το καθάρισμα

- Θα σας ζητήσει επιβεβαίωση.. Πατήστε "Y" για αποδοχή

- Αφήστε το να τρέξει μέχρι να ολοκληρωθεί

παιδια εκτος απο την απενεργοποιηση του UAC σε ULTIMATE πρεπει να κανω και κατι αλλο που βοηθαει το συστημα???επισης μια αποροια...μερικες φορες οταν κανω δεξι κλικ σε ενα αρχειο μου βγαζει ενα περιεργο μηνυμα οτι το προγραμμα εξερευνησης των windows σταματησε να λειτουργει και μπλα μπλα μπλα και μου εχει δυο επιλογες.η επανεκκινηση του προγραμματος η ψαξιμο στο νετ.τι ειναι παλι τουτο???αν πατησω ακυρο αναβοσβηνει η οθονη και ολα οκ παλι μετα.δεν το κανει παντα ομως.τι ειναι παλι τουτο?

Τελικα τι γινεται με το superfetch; Διαβαζω και στο ιντερνετ, αλλοι λενε οτι κανει καλο, αλλοι λενε οτι πρεπει να απενεργοποιηθει.
