Το Norton Ghost όχι απαραίτητα. Το Partition Magic θες κυρίως, για να ενοποιήσεις τα 2 partitions που έχεις δημιουργήσει.

 

Επίσης, καλό θα ήταν, για μελλοντική χρήση, να δημιουργήσεις με το nlite ένα CD των XP όπου θα έχει ενσωματωμένο το Service Pack 2. Έτσι, όταν στο μέλλον ξαναπεράσεις τα ΧΡ (ελπίζω όχι σύντομα ), θα σου δει απευθείας όλο τον σκληρό και θα γλιτώσεις όλη αυτή τη φασαρία.

Ευχαριστώ για τις συμβουλές gsarig. Μετά από επικοινωνία με την WD το έλυσα αλλίως το πρόβλημα. Παραθέτω την απάντηση για όποιον αντιμετωπίζει παρόμοιο θέμα:

Once it is installed:

 

 

Access Disk Management by first clicking on the Start button.

Select Run.

In the text box type diskmgmt.msc and click OK

 

Note: In two separate windows, on the right side of the screen, a graphical representation of the partitions on the installed drives will be displayed. The top window is for viewing a driveʼs status, capacity, and file system. In the bottom window, you will see a representation of the drives in the system starting with the boot drive (drive 0). In almost all cases, you will want to work with the bottom window.

Right-click in the unallocated space in the rectangle representing the drive.

Click on Create Partition from the menu.

A new wizard will appear: Create Partition Wizard. Click Next to continue.

On the next screen select either Primary or Extended Partition and click Next to continue.

You may assign a drive letter that is not in use by other devices if you wish, then click Next to continue.

Select the type of format (NTFS or FAT32). Leave the allocation unit size at default and label the drive as desired.

Enter the desired partition size. If using FAT32, your partition cannot be larger than 32GB.

Click Finish when done.

Τώρα μένει το partition magic αν θέλεις να τα εvώσεις αλλά σκέφτομαι να κρατήσω 2 partitions. Πολύ καλή η ιδέα σου για το nlite gsarig!

Αν δεν σε πειράζει να έχεις 2 partitions καλύτερα κράτησέ τα. To Partition Magic γενικά είναι αξιόπιστο, αλλά ποτέ δεν ξέρεις.

 

Το nlite κατά τη γνώμη μου επιβάλλεται. Το φτιάχνεις μια φορά και ξεγνοιάζεις, και γλιτώνεις όλη την παραπάνω διαδικασία. Άσε που μπορείς να το φτιάξεις έτσι ώστε να σου περάσει αυτόματα όλες τις επιθυμητές ρυθμίσεις (γλώσσα, serial, κλπ).

REALZEUS κάνε μου μια χάρη αν θες για να καταλάβω κάτι:

ελέγχεις το version στο εξής αρχείο

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\atapi.sys

πατώντας δεξί click properties και version

και γράψε μου αν θες τι γράφει ok
