Compiz Fusion Compiz+Beryl merge

Νομίζω ότι το fusion δεν έχει κόκκινο διαμαντάκι αλλά ένα μπλε τετράγωνο. Σε εμένα τουλάχιστον (Arch Linux με compiz fusion git-20070729). Μήπως συνεχίζει και φορτώνει το Beryl;

 

Αυτό νομίζω κι εγώ... πως για κάποιο λόγο συνεχίζει να φορτώνει το beryl και όχι το fusion. Γι αυτό ανέφερα το διαμαντάκι γιατί υπάρχει εγκατεστημένος και ο manager του fusion αλλά δεν φορτώνει

Μόλις ανακοινώθηκε η πρώτη stable έκδοση για το compiz fusion.H έκδοση είναι η 0.5.2 τα τελικά feature που υπάρχουν στην έκδοση

 

* New Plugins:

- Firepaint

- Like the ʽwaterʼ plugin, draw fire anywhere on screen.

- Enhanced Zoom

- Zoom and continue to interact with your programs, designed with the visually impaired in mind.

- Colorfilter plugin

- Filter windows or screen colors to enhance contrast or help low-visioned users.

- Desktop Expo

- View all desktops at a glance and move windows between them with a beautiful reflective effect.

- Mouse Switch, Viewport Mouse Switch and Goto-Viewport

- Switch viewports by scrolling on the desktop, by using mouse gestures or simply by pressing that viewportʼs number.

- Cube Atlantis and Cube Gears

- Renders an aquarium or gears inside the transparent cube.

- Cube Reflection

- Draws a reflection underneath the cube.

- Cube Caps

- Allows drawing of cube caps on top and bottom and having a slideshow of images on the caps of your cube.

- Scale Addons

- Adds titles to your scaled windows and highlights them when they are hovered over.

- You can now filter out for plugins using the information bar on the left.

- Each plugin has its own button in the main window, allowing for easy navigation and enabling / disabling of plugins.

Για εγκατάσταση δυστηχώς ακόμα δεν υπάρχουν έτοιμα πακέτα για καμία γνωστή διανομή και θα πρέπει να τα μεταγλωτίσουμε μόνοι μας απο τον πηγαίο κώδικα.Τα πακέτα που υπάρχουν στα trevino repos του ubuntu είναι αρκετά παλιά.Για εγκατάσταση δείτε εδώ

Εγώ το έβαλα ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες από εδώ

αλλά δε βλέπω κύβο.Αντ αυτού ένα τετράγωνο με δυο πλευρές

 

Τα wobbly δε μ αρέσουν πχ ενώ είναι μεγιστοποιημένο το παράθυρο ελαχιστοποιείται και το αντίθετο,πολύ καλό το εφέ με τη φωτιά.

Η έκδοση που υπάρχει στα repos του trevino είναι αρκετά παλιά.Να φανταστείς είναι στην έκδοση 0.1 άσε που έιναι και αρκετά ασταθές και bugarismeni.Καλήτερα να την βγάλεις και να προσπαθήσεις να βάλεις την πρόσφατη stable με compile.

Δεν είναι του trevino είναι του amaranth.Τελικά βρήκα τι παίζει τουλάχιστον με τον κύβο.Για όποιον το χρειαστεί

CompizConfig SettManager->General Compiz Options->Desktop Size και βάζουμε στο horizontal virtual size την τιμή 4.

Μετά Desktop Cube-> Behaviour ξετσεκάρουμε την επιλογή Inside Cube.

 

Βέβαια τα ελαχιστοποιημενα παράθυρα δείχνουν κολλημένα στην επιφάνεια αλλά τι να κάνουμε

Επειδή όταν πατάω το κουμπί με το σηματακι των Win μαζί με το tab ο κέρσορας εξαφανίζεται τι κάνω για να τον επαναφέρω?

Εδώ και κάτι μέρες χρησιμοποιώ το compiz-fusion σε gutsy και μπορώ να πώ ότι γενικά σπερνεί .Eχει πάρει το beryl και το έχει πάει στο διάστημα με τις δυνατότητες του και με τρελές ταχύτητες.Ενας καλός οδηγός για ρύθμιση του εδώ
