Radeon 2900XT 1 GB comes on the 14th

 

Diamond Multimedia will start selling the Radeon HD 2900XT 1GB cards for System integrators on the 14th. These cards will finally resurface on Thursday and selected companies will start selling this single GPU 1 GB Radeon HD 2900XTX cards but only in the System integrator machines.

 

ATI decided to rename the R600 XTX and brand it finally as Radeon HD 2900XT 1GB card and this card is the first GDDR4 from ATI with 1 GB.

 

You can even put two of them in Crossfire. The bad thing about it is that it will only be marginally faster than Radeon HD 2900XT with 512 MB GDDR3.

 

You will be able to get this card in systems from Biohazard Computer Systems, Inc. , Extreme PC, Falcon North West, Maingear, Memory Express, NCIX, Smooth Creations, Velocity Micro, Vigor and XI.
